I recently stayed at Hyatt Ziva Rose. First- it was a bit costly via hotels.com. I had stayed here in 2019, and had a great experience. I had a suite and my room was nice. Furniture was old and rickety. The plumbing also was poor. Tub stopper needed rubber ring replaced. And overhead shower pressure was so low, we couldn’t use it. Also face sinks drained slowly. The hotel main food area serves hot dogs and old looking burgers nightly. Where is the authentic Jamaican food?? Where are the oxtails, curry goat?? Who wants a hot dog??? That needs to improve! Flowers and decor was amazing. Infused water was great and everywhere. Please put a vegetable at the jerk hut. Cabbage or corn please. Upgrade your food. It’s bringing you down bi expect more from Hyatt. I will NOT stay here again.

Overall the property is well kept. My only issue is the main lobby/check-in area is very hot. There are no ceiling fans or air conditioner to cool the area.

Overall it was a good place to stay. The staff is really friendly and they had decent food options. The only thing is that this resort is a bit dated, rooms smell a bit moldy, after a day or two, you don’t notice it as much. The beach area is small but during our stay that wasn’t a problem since it wasn’t crowded. Wait times for food at the restaurants are a bit long, which was a bit inconvenient traveling with babies. I’d recommend booking for the earliest time. I feel that for the price the shuttle should be included but it’s an extra $39 per person (round trip).
Our friends staying at an upgraded room with ocean view didn’t have hot water in the shower but they fixed it as soon as we made them aware of it, which was appreciated.

Overall, the resort was great and we had a goid experience. Staff were respectful and friendly. What disappointed us was the food quality. The foods did not taste good and the buffet food variety was low.

This was my second time staying at the Hyatt. My first experience was absolutely amazing which made me want to return. This second stay, my room had no AC and I was offered no alternative accommodation. On three different occasions I spoke with staff about the AC and was told and engineer would be sent to the room to take care of it. I later asked for a fan and they gave me one. I had to have it blowing directly on me in order for me to sleep comfortably at night. I also had to kill a roach. My friends that traveled along with me saw roaches in their rooms as well. Overall the staff were amazing. I just wish the AC situation was handled differently especially with the amount of money I spent on my suite.

Outside is very nice such as the pool areas and the beach setup. However, the inside of the hotel needs updating. The rugs are gross and the grout in the bathroom looks old. Our bathroom had a few rust stains. The staff is super nice and accommodating. We enjoyed the French restaurant and the buffet options.

Staff extremely helpful, kind, and caring! Beautiful property! Lots to do! Fun and yet relaxing! I wish the pool stayed open later than what it did… 6pm a little to early for us. Had issue w the smell of mildew/mold in room. Staff helped and got us new room immediately! Pamela at the pool waitstaff beyond awesome and served us well all week! Would definitely return! Amazing stay first time in Jamaica

Beautiful property, great music, great food, great amenities. The spa is a must do. The ladies at the spa were amazing. Absolutely no complaints. I loved the Hyatt, they even upgraded my room. I would definitely visit again

I have stayed at a few Hyatt resorts and this is my least favorite . Your first impression when you enter is , “how outdated is this lobby?” The carpet is very old and smelled like mold throughout the whole walk to our room. The room itself was very nice and up to date. We stayed in a 1 bedroom butler suite. We did have issues with bugs and Roaches which is expected on an hot island. Our butlers were very nice and helpful. A big shout out to Ricardo. The food was amazing , especially the Asian fusion and Italian. Our waitress Chevelle at Di Roza was an absolute delight . We had very noisy neighbors and the walls were very thin. The hotel is not worth the money

Staff was kind and pleasant which is the only thing that makes the stay bearable.
This is not a five star resort. The hotel needs major refurbishment, the rooms are damp and dirty, air conditioning does not work, furnishings are dated, filthy and stained. The carpet in the hallways need replacing with tile, constant water traffic causes the carpet to be stained and smells wet and moldy. The food is just okay however, the rotation is repetitive and subpar. The jerk hut is okay, they need more food options. The pool is dirty. Very disappointed in this property and the lack of cleanliness.

Beautiful Place to spend Vacation. Well worth every dollar. All the good food at Choicez Restaurant on the resort the kids loved it! Jamaica is beautiful and the people. Def vacationing at the Hyatt again…

I love love it here. ❤️ All the staff was very nice! Specially Kimberly from choicez she treat my family like her own and was so kind. The property is soo beautiful and well kept! Great food options nice places for u and ur family to take picture. Transportation no problem. Staff comes around poolside n beach asking if u want drinks or food and bring it to you.i mean the list goes on my Favorite Resort in Jamaica hands down!! See y’all again soon! One Love

The air conditioner throughout the property didn’t work even in the lobby. It was extremely uncomfortable. But the most uncomfortable part was our room didn’t get below 77• they gave us a different room still same result. I was given a portable fan from the front desk was very uncomfortable and couldn’t sleep at night in the new room

All great but our upgraded room was one with an AC that did not work. Our room temp did not go under 80 degrees. I requested a fan and they provided one but it looks like it was an issue all around. However charging the amount charged, I’d expect a bit more than a fan.

I was upgraded to a top floor room. Which was kind. But the AC unit did not get my room under 80 degrees. The room was somewhat dated but cleaned. I stayed about 2 years ago on the adult side and the rooms were outstanding. The food was pretty good. The staff
was kind. The activities on the resort nice and the scenery was amazing.

This was our 2nd time staying at the Hyatt Ziva and once again they did not disappoint. From the food, the staff, relaxation, spa, pool, our driver, & shows, my family & I had a great stay! I would have given 5 stars but the AC in some areas was out so they had to put fans out, but honestly the only part that bothered us was waking in the hallways to the front of the hotel. Other than that it did not bother us. Everything else was great!

This property needs to be closed. The air conditioner doesn’t work. The rooms are not updated. We switched rooms and the room was the same. Mildew/mold, room very moist and uncomfortable. Breakfast/buffet was good.

The A/C on property and rooms weren’t working, the place was hot, not sure the A/C situation was because of the previous hurricane but, they should have reimbursed guest something because of the condition of heat in the rooms and restaurants

Property was not clean at all carpets smelled like mold, we had to switch rooms due to this issue. We saw cockroaches around the resort multiple times!! No air conditioning in dining areas, and a ton of flies inside while you’re trying to eat. We requested for a bottle of champagne for the room at 8pm and they told us we had to get approved for that, meanwhile this is an all inclusive resort and it should have been available to us. I would not recommended this resort to anyone.

It was very hot in the hotel and the rooms. The air conditioning would not get below 76 degrees. No ceiling fan … Had a sewage smell leading up to the rooms. Very limited kids activities.. hardly anything to do for children.

The resort is very nice, all staff member, especially Tavin the lifeguard and Latoya the bar tender was excellent!! But the wait time in the restaurants was way too long and room service was a 2 hour wait.

Well I was not able to come because of my surrogacy journey and baby arriving early. Hyatt refused to give refund or even a future stay credit. Sadly they do not care.

AC was horrible. Our room was 77-79 our whole stay and it’s NOT because of the hurricane that went through last week. We still had a great time!
