Great place for a short break, golf course looked great.

The apartment was very comfortable. The outside area and courtyard were very peaceful and relaxing. Well definitely come back again.

Lovely location. A lovely spacious house on the grounds. We got a great welcome. Good attempt at compliance with Covid guidelines. I suggest management wear visors when talking to guests. Serving staff wore visors but management spent more time talking to guests to help them out but did not wear a visor.

Apartments were clean and very big, plenty of room.

We are a family of four and stayed here for a night while traveling through the area. We are not golfers but our two adult children were with us so we needed something that would give everyone their space. We stayed in lodge #5. It had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It also had a large living room area and very large kitchen area. The grounds are very beautiful as well! Very quiet and peaceful. Only took us about an hour to get into Dublin the next day to catch our flight home.

The lodge was really spacious, modern and comfortable. The decor was modern and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was very good. Would highly recommend and will be back.

Beautiful grounds. We stayed in remodeled stables of horse ranch. We were able to play 9 holes of golf before breakfast. Just a lovely place. We had a full kitchen and washer dryer which was great. Kind and helpful staff

Polite and accommodating staff. Grounds are absolutely beautiful for golfers or families, alike. 20 minutes away from Mullingar and 5 minutes from Tyrrellspass, with shopping, pubs, historical sites (Belvedere, Lake Ennell) nearby. Spacious rooms allow for plenty of room to spread out and enjoy some privacy. Close to all highways to get you where you need to go. Highly recommend for those looking for a taste of Ireland with modern amenities.

Chose apartments for washer/dryer to catch up on travel laundry & OK for this.

Highly recommended, definitely worth a visit, helpful staff, especially Chanel, who quickly sorted out a small problem with sleeping arrangements.

We stayed here in Apartment No. 10, the honeymoon suite, last weekend and it was absolutely lovely. The Apartment was so clean and new. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bedroom had a king size bed with lots of wardrobe storage. The bathroom had a jacuzzi & and a 2 person shower. Lying in the Jacuzzi listening to the birds singing outside was so relaxing and peaceful. We ate in the restaurant that evening, the food was top class. The staff were so pleasant and helpful, especially the owner John & his son. A special mention to Jimmy the Manager who would make anyone feel so welcome and would talk for Ireland (as most Gaelic football Kerry men do !) We loved our stay and will definitely return :-)

We had house 4 which was very spacious. Large lounge with steps down to kitchen/dining area. 2 double bedrooms + double sofa bed in dining area. Both bedrooms had ensuite. One had a shower, the other had a jacuzzi bath + shower over it. Staff r incredibly friendly & helpful. The accommodation is set on a golf course so it is very quiet and a long walk to the local village...but a 5 minute drive. There you will find a Centra store which has everything and they make fresh sandwiches, paninis etc daily to order. The furniture and appliances were all good quality. Most of the kitchen appliances were NEFF brand. The kitchen had crockery for 6, saucepans and frying pans but no tea pot :( There was a dishwasher (dishwasher tabs were also supplied), fridge/freezer, microwave, oven +hob, washer dryer, toaster and kettle. Plenty of spare towels and duvets on hand too and very comfy beds. PROS: extremely quiet location and very very spacious. You can buy meals in the golf club or go a short distance to the Tyrrellspass castle restaurant which does great food. CONS: Very minor points!! but.... the rooms are a little bare. They could do with a sideboard in the living room. One bathroom had a large cabinet, the other had nowhere to put toiletries except on the floor. Ideally there would have been a little table and chairs in the patio to sit in the sun or eat meals. There was plenty of space for the kids but not much to do locally. No wifi. Reception isn't staffed 24hrs.
