Ken, Sean, Johanas and thw diving crew were excellent. The resort is well positioned to access all the ship wrecks in the bsy. The local girls who operate the kitchen were fantastic. Evening buffet provided great meals and a variety of seafood, curries and fresh salads. I can highly recommend this resort for those divers who wish to be in the middle of the Coron Bay and direct access to the wrecks.

Quaint... this is a family owned and operated place that is very upscale hostel. A lot of work to keep the place up as it’s semi remote.. The operator has done a lot of work to make the place work. The food is quite good as the breakfast and dinners are included in the daily rate. Lunch is okay and not overly expensive... wonderful staff All of them. Good value

I like the staff and and service. But I don't really like the way they schedule the electricity. Sometimes when you stay in the resort and you need to use electricity, you have to wait until specific time

Nice beautiful Ressort on Chindonan Island, approx. 60min boat ride from Coron Harbor. The owner is a friendly dutch guy who runs the ressort for more than 12 years now. The staff is perfect and the food was simply amazing. You get breakfast and dinner included and they cook everything fresh. Also diving is great there and Shawn the dive instructor is doing a perfect job from DSD till instructor training. The rooms get renovated bit by bit so you can be lucky and get a new one or just the older ones which are a little worn, but nevertheless clean and equipped with everything you need. I would definitely come back!

Cons: The owner is very arrogant, rude and dislikes kids. He is present the entire time and watches every single move of yours very closely which made us felt uncomfortable. He constantly complained about the kids when he saw them in the common area.The room was without AC when requested for AC we were charged p800 per night. There was extra charge for bed per kid p2300 therefore our entire stay total cost was doubled not to our expectation. We only needed one bed but the owner said he would charges us for 2 regardless cus we had two kids. Worst of all! the running water for shower was worst, it was literally droplets of water for shower. Fyi; the owner’s dog is loose and all over the place in case you are afraid of dogs.Barely any internet to none. Basically not a kid friendly environment. Overall felt we were way overcharged! Pros: Great local ladies with very friendly and good customer service at front desk and kitchen. Daily breakfast and dinner was served freshly. The ladies went out of their way to help you. Island hoping and scuba diving lessons and instructors were good

Our family loved it. Genuine hotel and ownership with respect to nature and eco-sustainability. Great hospitality combined with excellent food. We enjoyed the scuba diving, kayak & snorkeling possibilities.

Perfect location for diving with coral reefs and ship wrecks just a short boat ride away or - actually- in front of the hotel.

If you are interested in diving and in quiet and scenic spot, this is it. No AC, but staff will do what it takes to make you comfortable. Internet slow, but works. Recommended!

Amazing off the grid location, with very nice snorkeling and diving spots. The resort is very basic, but with great service. If anything they could probably upgrade the rooms a little bit, with maybe aircon and a nicer shower. The experience and also service in this place are so amazing though that it doesnt matter. Thanks for a great trip!!

Stayed for four nights. Scuba dived on two days and just relaxed and did some snorkeling on the other two. Transfers from and to mainland/airport is included in the price. So is dinner. Friendly people, professional scuba instructors and good food. What else can you ask for?

My girlfriend and I were there for three nights and we have zero complaints. The staff and owner went above and beyond to make our stay extra special.

Small personalized service. Chindonan Island is about an hour's boat ride from town, which you can consider as a tour if you identify the islands and sites along the way. It's close to where the wrecks are. Quiet, secluded, very private, laid back. The only problem is that internet is slow, but so it is as well in Coron.

Had a wonderful stay at Chindonan. Staff and owners did everything for us from pickup in Coron to transfer to Airport. Extra plus for the kitchen. Go there if you want to relax or dive. For action and variety dont.

Situated on a beautiful island off a coral reef. There are no other hotels or shopping areas around, a nice get away place from traffic, crowds, noise, etc. Truly wonderful. Day trips can be arranged for diving around the area which has a large amount of sunken WW2 battle ships in the area- a divers delight. I am not a diver so stayed around the resort and did snorkeling. Clear water and saw many beautiful fishes, colors and life. I wanted a place of quiet and some solitude and got it. I slept, read, swam and eat when I wanted. I am a large man, 62 with size 13 (USA) feet. Yet, the staff provided me with aquatic shoes and snorkeling gear of my size. Very helpful. So I didnt need to take anything.The food was excellent. Served crab, lobster, fish, etc. Beautifully prepared. Important note...the advertisement stated continental breakfast is provided...but actually more is for no charge. The continental breakfast was a normal breakfast with options of omelettes- vegetable or cheese- with bacon or ham and toast. Pancakes and other is provided at extra charge. And dinner is provided with room. A small buffet of seafood and local Filipino dishes with desert. No lunch is provided but is offered at a charge (sandwich, etc.). Alcoholic drinks and other such as natural mango shakes are offered for a charge. But not expensive. So you get more food with the room than one realizes. Highly recommendable.
