Location is perfect and it’s easy to go any hot spots

It‘s fine to stay here if you‘re reliant on trains to and from destinations. Otherwise, not the best location. The safe didn‘t work, and although we asked for this to be fixed, nothing was done. Furthermore, be careful with this company, as they can take out from your account, when you arrive, the full sum as payment or as „holding deposit“, and then they take the total amount out at the end of your stay - quite concerning… However it gets fixed up eventually. But it‘s a good idea to check your account.

The shower gel is limited to serve. The shower gel is hard for one person to use but it’s the first night and it means no one check if it’s enough. But I sleep only two nights so if visitor would like to take a shower then it might be good to prepare your own shower gel.

Great stay. We picked this hotel due to its proximity to the station. Comfortable and contemporary room. Our train was delayed and we were thankful for the option to relax in the lounge / lobby over having to wait at the station.

This is a good hotel to stay in for convenience to transportation. It’s a “business” hotel with fairly bare bones basic service and its staff is courteous but not overly friendly.

The Air conditioner was not working properly. The hotel staff was informed and they founs the it's normal. The beds were very uncomfortable

Convenient location near the Central Station so an easy in an out to the airport, walkable to the city center. The breakfast was varied (though wish they had decent coffee). We were disappointed that our room wasn’t cleaned two consecutive days even though we specifically asked for housekeeping as we were walking out on the second day. Overall, decent value.

My family and I stayed for a 3 day visit to Vienna, based on other reviews and were also very happy with our stay. Location is a great launchpad to get to different areas of Vienna. The hotel and staff are very nice, great facilities, family friendly with lots of small detail for kid at breakfast and playroom. Hotel also has a nice breakfast and plenty of food options within a 5-10 min walk. Highly recommend.

Brilliant hotel, very clean and excellent location right next to the main vienna train station (which has a lot of food choices). My only complaint is the breakfast wasn’t good, almost everything tasted cheap/bad.

The staff at the check-in desk is VERY unkind and even rude. I had a very uncomfortable experience during my stay in this hotel.

The check-in desk staff is very rude and unfriendly. I doubt he is a guy working in the service industry. He got mad at guests when he had to say 'sorry'. It was so unpleasant to me from the check-in stage.
Also, I struggled all night for the first day because of an electricity issue. I talked to a guy in the next day, and changed rooms; however, nobody said a word of sorry for this.
I recommend not to use this hotel.

Novotel is supposed to be a good hotel based my experience from other Countries. However, in Vienna this is highly disappointing especially the service. The guest service has been digitalized and handled thru support ticket. Unfortunately, the ticket is not handled on time and support chat to duty manager is even terribly handled. I would not recommend.

Positive: Great location next to the Wien Hbf and Belvedere Palace. Negative: The hotel only serves a full breakfast. They don't sell small breakfast items for light eaters. But the train station is nearby, and we bought some bread and water there. The room is unremarkable and a bit on the small side but clean and comfortable.

Staff were friendly and professional. Location was good too. However, hotel’s website indicates that there was a concierge but when asked about it staff stated they do not have one. Also, the insumes used for guests were of poor quality (i.e. instant coffee and toilet paper)
Instead of recommending this hotel I would suggest to shop around and compare before booking.

Never stayed in a Novotel before but based on this stay it will not be my last. The hotel was near to the hotel and thats a bonus. The layout of the room was great and it just worked for me, totally impressed.

We tried booking ibis next door, but it was fully booked, then for convenience booked Novotel, it is right by the central train station (Wien Hbf), inside the station there is plenty of fast food restaurants, and a ticket office, connect to underground U4 line. Convenient to go into city center and other attractions, or a day trip by train.
