Fabulous hotel with a very friendly owner who will happily help at any moment. We got a great welcome upon arrival and Lana was there whenever we needed anything or had any questions. We had a full english breakfast which was hand made by Lana and was fantastic, definitely recommend!
The rooms are very spacious and have everything you need - we had the gothic suite with the lovely terrace.
The only thing is that parking is quite tight but nothing can be done about that.
We will definitely be back for future stays and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and relax!

Amazing hotel, lovely hosts. Couldn't do enough for you. Excellent location. Close to the town. The only downside of this hotel is the steep driveway, it was a real struggle getting in and out with the car. But we will definitely recommend this hotel! Lovely place.

Warm welcome when we arrived, very helpful host, huge, very comfortable suite, wonderful breakfast, excellent value for money. Convenient walking distance to seafront, restaurants a and local buses. We have already booked a return visit

Ascot House suites are stunning and the hosts are lovely. Big comfortable clean rooms with tasteful decor. Ten minute stroll to walk into town (downhill) and plenty of buses available if you don’t fancy walking back up. We had a balcony which was nice - shame about Seascape opposite that really needs tidying up as is an eyesore but I would stay and recommend Ascot House to anyone

We stayed in the Gothic Suite; don't be put off by the name as it is very roomy, comfortable and quiet. Our host, Grace, was extremely attentive and provided us with useful information about the area and the English Riviera in general. A very good place to stay and to explore the hinterland

Check your booking with owner as in description says patio area so I assumed would be on ground floor but was upstairs which my wife really struggled with which put a bit of a downer on our stay

Booked for my parents. They ended up not staying. Bathroom was not clean toilet was dirty no soup, no reception and no facilities very dissppointed. Were expecting much more from reviews this is a guest house not a hotel but priced as a hotel.

Lovely B&B in Torquay about 10mins walk to either the town centre or the seafront. We had the Seaview Suite which was on the top floor so there is 3 flights of fairly steep stairs to negotiate but well worth it for the Lovely view from the windows. We were greeted by Grace the owner and she was very welcoming and helpful. The room was very spacious and airy and had a lovely bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. Overall a very nice place to stay. We liked it that much we were lucky to be able to stay a couple of extra nights. Well worth a visit. We will be returning! Thanks Grace Highly recommended

The accommodation was very conviently located to be able to explore Torquay, getting to the promenade, and also to the surrounding area. We really liked the sea view! We had a warm welcome and really enjoyed the comfortable space in the suite. We were also happy with the covid measures and the eco practices.

We were amazed with our room (seaview room). Very comfortable and clean with everything you needed. Very chilled and relaxing and peaceful. Host was very friendly and professional who went out her way to accommodate our needs, which was twice. Breakfast could not fault, even wetherspoons couldnt top it, ha ha.
Would recommend and deffinately return.

Overall a lovely well maintained property, the only thing was we were on the 2nd floor which we found a bit exhausting as we weren’t feeling that well, we should have had a room on first floor but as we couldn’t make it on first night someone else was put in our room which I thought was rubbing it in as we had paid and lost our first night £90 and then although it was supposed to be an upgrade it made things harder for us ?

Everything about my stay was perfect. Heather was there to welcome me as soon as I arrived and showed me to my room. The suite was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and very spacious. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

The location is good for Torquay harbour and town and also beaches . The only downside for us was the carpark is very steep and our car wears a skirt lol so struggled to get down . Heather the owner was lovely and kept us informed with Covid safety before we arrived.She met us for check in and the guesthouse is just lovely. I booked 3 rooms in total for ourselves and other friends and each room had its own style. We stayed in the gothic room (no 2) which had a balcony and outdoor seating.The room had a bathroom with bath and shower attached to the bedroom and a separate lounge which was access to the balcony. Everything was lovely and clean and we had a fridge with tea, coffee, milk. We would definitely stay here again if we was visiting the area. Such a lovely hotel in a central location.

I highly recommend Ascot House Hotel. We stayed in a very clean and nicely furnished suite with a balcony to sit and enjoy the sun. We will definitely book here again. The owners were friendly and helpful.

We had a warm welcome from our hosts on arrival.The room was very comfortable & cosy,with everything we needed for our stay.The hotel is ideally situated for the town.Breakfast at this hotel is second to none ! and the best selection and presentation we have ever seen !! The suite was tastefully decorated with a separate lounge area, making it feel very homely. Television in both lounge and bedroom. Great shower and comfortable bed.

This is a lovely place and the hosts are very welcoming and happy to help with anything. The breakfast was really good and overall this is great value for money and i would stay here again if i ever needed accommodation in Torquay.
