Everything was great, from the cozy villa to the outstanding service of the staff. I loved the fresh iced herbal teas provided daily as well as the free massages. Would stay again.

The hotel is close to the airport. Its located in the old town of Chiang Mai. The place is very serene as soon as you walk in. I love the vibes, like a botique hotel with a character. The staffs are very welcoming and professional. They were able to attend to our needs quickly when there was an issue with the AC in our room. Since the AC was not fixed by the time we got back from our activity, they offered another room for us to sleep in. The rooms are very spacious and clean. They even offered fruits and all of the snacks and drinks inside the room is included (free). We enjoyed the afternoon tea, as well as the papaya salad making. Their breakfast is great and has a lot of food to choose from. I would like to say I had the best pineapple fried rice from their restaurant. Since we have an early flight on our last day in Chiang Mai, they prepared a "lunch box" for us to bring at the airport. Its convinient also for they arranged our transportation to the airport. I would stay again at this hotel should I visit Chiang Mai next time.

This hotel was wonderful. We loved the Eastern vibe, the layout of the hotel, the size and cleanliness of the room. The pool is nice. The onsite restaurant is excellent, with great food and prices! Breakfast was quite elaborate. The staff were ready to handle any request instantly. We just really loved this place. The famous Sunday night market is a short walk around the corner. It felt like we were in our own secure walled oasis. I can't recommend this place enough. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Chiang Mai.

A hidden gem in the epicenter of old city. Beautiful architecture, great staff and on site amenities. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing room, excellent service, excellent food. Staff was very friendly and super accommodating. Pool is super refreshing and was very useful in battling the 106° heat. Every room has A/C so you can sleep comfortably! My wife and I were very appreciative of the staff letting us keep our luggage at the front desk for a few hours after checkout due to our late departure time.

A wonderful experience! The staff were incredibly helpful and took care of any need we had. The spa was top tier, and the VIP Expedia discounts really came in handy because we went there every day. You can’t beat their prices, but the quality of service was not sacrificed either! The hotel is conveniently located in Old Town next to Wat Phra Singh and our favorite restaurant, It’s Good Kitchen. The hotel’s breakfast buffet was also a great benefit as it was included in the price of stay, with a very expansive offering of both Thai and western options (love the egg station!). The staff really went out of their way to be friendly and hospitable in every way — they even arranged a taxi for our very early flight and arranged a free breakfast takeaway so we wouldn’t go hungry. Would recommend this hotel to others.

A beautiful and quiet hotel, spacious room, very courteous staff. Very convenient location, walking distance from all old city, but not in very touristy area.

Excellent stay, no hidden charges. Lovely large room and beautiful location. My son does not eat eggs and they tried hard to provide alternatives. Lovely complimentary tea and cakes and short massage.

I loved how grand the hotel looked, and how clean and spacious the rooms were. This hotel is also in a convenient location, making it easy to walk everywhere within the old city. Also located right beside the Sunday Walking Street. Would recommend!

Very disappointing experience. The pictures promise more than the reality. The hotel is definitely too expensive for the service provided. Noisy rooms and third class breakfast. At check out a fuss was made about a missing room plastic card. Really unworthy. In short: Once and never again.

It is a quiet, unique boutique vibe hotel. It is well appointed, they have thought of everything! There is no way to improve upon this hotel's offerings. There is a tea service and a daily massage. The grounds are peaceful and lovely. The service is impeccable, they anticipate your every need. The staff could not be any friendlier, supportive, and helpful. Words cannot express what a gem this place is.

Large, clean updated rooms. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The location was very walkable to many places. We enjoyed the restaurant for dinner as well. 10/10 would recommend to stay here

We had a wonderful stay! The super comfortable bed was the best part for sure! The staff was so kind and helpful. The breakfast and tea time were great as well as the complimentary 10 minute massage everyday.

The hotel smells so good! Love the breakfast, tea service, and fun daily activities as well as massages. Friendly and helpful staff. The only negative would be the shower set up was odd. It was difficult and awkward to get in and out.

Beautiful property with outstanding staff. We loved all the in-room amenities and that there was also a bathtub. Breakfast was the very abundant and the mineral pool a very nice touch. Makkha Spa has some of the best therapists in Chiang Mai.

The map location on Hotels.com is incorrect. The hotel is actually on the Southeast side of town, not the west side (i.e. farther from the action), so that was frustrating. Otherwise, the hotel was great. The pool was strategically shaded, which made it quite refreshing to jump into given the warm temperatures. Breakfast buffet had lots of options.
