Really great hotel. Check in staff (and all staff for that matter) were wonderful. They had flavored water in the lobby, and usually a delicious food tasting in the afternoon. They offered mini muffins and coffee in the AM. The courtyard was great to unwind around the fire place in the evenings. The location was perfect, close to a Walgreens and Trader Joes. Walking distance to the cable cars, Fishermans Wharf and Alcatraz pier. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a great stay for SFC and the nearby Fisherman’s Wharf area. All things we managed by feet. The cleanliness was great, the staff excellent. We git offered to participate a sale event at the hotel, the incentive offered was interesting, but given the limited time of our stay, we declined. Only down side was that one elevator to the lobby was out for repair, which gave us some waiting to get into it with our folks. Overall I can completely recommend to stay there. Last thing to mention, there ia a huge fee for the parking. We did know upfrint, but looking to the price and value of the accommodation, this is very high. Nevertheless we compared it to surrounding hotels and this was even a little cheaper then others ….

Great location, staff was very nice. Room was only cleaned quickly, was very dusty. The long mirror has a coating of dust and who knows when the last time it was cleaned. Would stay again because the price and location was good.

I enjoyed staying here and I will definitely stay again. Was in an amazing location and it was a lovely hotel. I do wish I had a better check in experience but overall was a great stay.

It clearly states online that there is parking available for guest in addition to valet parking. There is ONLY valet. 80 bucks a day additional to park is beyond ridiculous

the property was in a great location and very pleasant , as well as dedicated to helping make sure we had a great stay. this is a pulse property meaning they are part of timeshares but they were very respectful of our time .

It was a great location for us to experience San Francisco, close to shopping, dining, the Pier.

Was impressed with the hotel, from the moment we checked in, the staff were very friendly. The facilities were good and as advertised. It was in a convenient location for walking to Fisherman’s Wharf and close to public bus stops (Muni) as well as the Powell Taylor Cable Car turntable. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great place to stay in Ssn Fran close to Fisherman’s Wharf and Little Italy. Great staff, decor is cool and everything is so clean. Fire pit with sheepskin blankets to sit and relax around was very nice! Mural on the wall was wonderful

We enjoyed staying at the MVC, it’s right by Fisherman’s Wharf und one cable car station. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Everything was good

Room was a good size and very clean. Super comfy beds. Guest laundry area is a nice touch. No dining options in the hotel were a little disappointing.

Helped that it was close to the pier

Valet parking is the only option or to find parking somewhere around the area.

We stayed 5 nights and did not regret it. The hotel is conveniently located in Fishermen's Wharf. Even though there are no food options in the hotel, the other facilities compensate for this. They have an amazing courtyard, a good fitness room and a cosy coffee corner where it is easy to strike up a conversation with other guests. The hotel does a good job of providing free walks, complimentary drinks and snacks and live music.

The staff was super friendly

The hotel and rooms are fine. I always filter my hotels for included breakfasts, which this Marriot claims; however, I would not classify their fare as anything close to breakfast (coffee, and some thin sort of pastry). The hotel is an easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf, so that is the saving grace, plus the price was in line with other facilities in the area. My biggest complaint, though, has to do with the sales pitch you get from the concierge at check in. I am not sure what they are selling because we have consistently refused (at first politely, and by day 2, we used the direct/rude approach), but we were hit up every time we entered the lobby about setting a time for a 90-minute sales pitch, for which we would allegedly receive a $250 gift card. This feels like a time share thing, and I have no interest in wasting my vacation time listening to a hard-sell pitch that I would bet lasts as long as you are willing to sit and/or until you sign on the dotted line. If I had known about this in advance, it would have been a deal breaker for me. I go on vacation to relax and have fun, and most hotels I have stayed have a concierge who will help with that by directing you to the local sites, tours, shopping, and restaurants.

Good Location

The staff at the hotel was exceptionally friendly, and the rooms were beautifully furnished and clean. On the bed, I found a sleep mask, earplugs, and a postcard suggesting that these could be used if one wasn’t fond of the city sounds. However, this was a bit too euphemistic. I’ve never slept so poorly in my life. It was absurdly loud. Despite all the positive aspects, I can only advise against staying at this hotel.
