Good location, accessible to most famous area and not far from airport. Staff is very attentive, friendly and polite. Room is large and clean. Breakfast is superb!!! I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

Very centrally located; probably our favorite hotel we stayed at in Thailand (of 6 total) for service, friendliness, and buffet. Right across street from a great, energetic local people's park.

Nicest property we stayed at over a month's traveling. Quiet and lovely gardens but just across the road from the moat enclosing the old city, opposite a city park. Very walkable and red-pickup taxi cabs available to hail on the street. Super clean, nice pool, we had dinner there and it was very good. It is a "dry" hotel so just buy a few beers at the nearby 7-11 and put then in your minibar to enjoy at your leisure. We even had free snacks and pop that were replenished in our superior room. Very clean, quiet and good internet. Great pool and gardens and walking distance to most sites - would certainly return next time in Chiang Mai.

After reading reviews of hotels in Chiang Mai, I chose 'Smile Lanna'. I think it was a really good choice. During our stay, this place was peaceful itself!. Everything was well-equipped, and friendly staffs, eco-friendly atmosphere, delicious and healthy meals, etc… The location of the hotel is just close to the Old City. Walking along the moat wall was one of our pleasures here, If I visit Chiang Mai again, I would like to stay in "Smile Lanna Hotel"

We stayed at the hotel during the holiday season. They had a free street fair with free food and massages. the staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was amazing. A great place to stay in Chang Mai. Convent location within walking distance to the old city.

I enjoyed our stayed a lot with all your kind service and staff. Please never change as your service makes you unique. We love the attention to detail and Doi is the best security ever!!

We absolutely loved Smile Lana. The beds were beyond comfortable and the room and hotel was very clean. We absolutely loved the morning breakfast and enjoyed all the perks included in your stay. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Good location for the Old City. Friendly polite staff, clean hotel and great pool. Free activities for guests to do in the mornings. Happy hour every day at the bar, which is local juices and fruit. No alcohol served at property as it is a well being kind of vibe hotel but free to bring in your own. Would stay again .

We have to say Smile Lanna was one of the best hotels my wife and I ever had the pleasure of staying. What made our stay so extraordinary was the employees, everyone helped make our stay so comfortable and inviting Our room was impeccable and the breakfast was amazing. We stayed there 5 days and within those 5 days everyone felt more like family and frankly we were sad to leave. Thank you everyone at Smile Lanna for all that you do for your quest, everyone there is truly amazing!!

The Smile Lanna hotel is an amazing oasis in an otherwise busy spot just outside of the old city wall. A beautiful pool is surrounded by carefully chosen trees, in the middle of the property. Having such a beautiful spot within walking distance of markets and restaurants is a huge reason to choose this hotel. Added to the beauty are genuinely caring staff who go out of their way to make your stay special. In the evening don't miss the roadside snack and drink cafe just outside of the hotel where you can sit and watch life go by while drinking Thai tea and eating warm and sweet roti.

The best hotel I’ve stayed in for this price! All of the staff were friendly, respectful and attentive. They always go the extra mile, even when we didn’t ask for help they’ve thought of what we might need for our day excursion and offered us bottled water, insect repellent and face masks. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, making breakfast experience such a treat. The hotel itself is new and beautifully designed with all the modern amenities. The room was perfect with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the pool. Swimming in the pool is so relaxing and luxurious. I will definitely keep coming back to Smile Lanna on my trips to Chiang Mai!

This place was AWESOME. Really nice rooms, loved the decor. and super clean. The staff was AMAZING. The best customer services i have ever experienced. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Wish all hotels were as well run as this one. Hats off to the amazing staff.

Our only criticism is that the gym facilities are a little tightly packed into the fitness room and although there are 2 cross trainers, treadmills and plenty of other machines we would’ve liked to see a bench too. Also it would be good to have some sanitizer and paper towels in there to wipe down the machines before and after they’ve been used. Aside from that we were very happy to have somewhere to do a workout! An excellent hotel in a great location - we would stay again and recommend to others.
