Room was very clean and bed super comfy!

Excellent little pub, very friendly staff. Good choice of food and drinks. I was leaving early before breakfast so was left a packed lunch in a fridge on the landing. Only downside is the lack of parking.

This is a quaint, olde worlde B&B. The staff are lovely people and we were made to feel welcome. It’s clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great too.

This was a fantastic place to stay and unwind after work. My room was spotless, lovely bathroom and a great restaurant and bar to enjoy. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Property was clean. Shower was too small - head was touching the ceiling when standing in the bath / shower. Shouldn’t really be billed as a shower really unless you are under 5ft2. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and diner were both really nice.

The room had been well designed with everything you could need for a short stay. Staff friendly. Bar menu varied and breakfast was very satisfying!

Fantastic service beautiful setting handy location for trip into Brighton Sunday Only down side had to duck to get in shower... But don't let that put you off... Stay was great room great service amazing

Nice overnight stay at the Horse Inn. The staff were great and couldn't have done more to make us comfortable. The food (dinner & breakfast) were great. The pub was a bit understaffed, but the service was still very good. Our room was small but very comfortable and fitted out to a high standard. The only downside is no dedicated car park. I'd happily recommend The Horse Inn to anybody wanting to stay in the area.

Our room was perfect and the decor was beautiful. We had dinner and breakfast and can recommend both, try the tapas it is amazing! A special shout out to Tegan, whose customer care was exemplary. We will definitely be back.

Very nice staff & pub very nice. Lovely breakfast. The only negative comment was that the room was freezing. I had to get ready to go out with my coat & boots on. In Nov, the heating should have been on, upon arrival. Our room was extremely cold & took 3/4 hrs to heat up. The heating should have also come on in the morning for an hour at least but didn’t.

Absolutely lovey stay. Food, drink , service and lovely usual room we had. Room 4…… Unfortunately, the rooms were so cold as the heating had not been turned on despite a full compliment of guests…. It’s was so so cold, very disappointing in the fact that they knew we were coming well in advance

Our welcome was great, room nice and food great. However somewhat dirty and unswept in outside areas. It would have been better if we had been told before that the earliest breakfast was served was 09.00 which translated as 09.30 availability of food so we were handing around like other couple not sure what was going on. Admin next morning was a bit hit and miss with 3 different bills (lower amounts) given to us which we corrected. The chef understandably had no idea what we had ordered the previous day but he thanked me for being so honest as Inn would have otherwise undercharged/ based on other people`s bills. Subsequently message sent implying I had underpaid/ not paid which was patently wrong as I have receipts. Asked me to contact them to correct but despite sending 2 replies and leaving a phone message no response from Inn, so admin a bit hopeless.

Really friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We were going to a friend's wedding nearby so were able to drop off our bags early and dash off to the wedding .Our room details and an entry code were sent by text and we managed to arrive back in time for last orders ! Great service, really clean and comfortable room, excellent shower and delicious breakfast - would really recommend this lovely friendly old pub !
