Another great property of the Mimaru chain. Located in a mainly business office district it’s in a quiet neighborhood and not in a party or nightlife area. There are a couple of train stations close by but it’s about a 15 minute walk Tokyo Station but it’s only 2 bus stops away. There’s a 7-11 on the first floor and several other convenience stores on the same block. Property and staff are excellent.

Nice to have 2 bunk beds and 2 beds in separate room. Close from the station. 7 Eleven on the first floor. Laundry on site was conveniet.

Our stay at Mimaru Hotel was great. It was comfortable for 4 people with 2 bedrooms, small living room and kitchenette. The bathroom is small but to be expected. It is very convenient with 7-11 store in the building and close to the subway stations and 10 minute walk to the JR Shinkansen station. There were stores and restaurants around the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location. However, if you’d like to go to the nicer restaurants, you might have to take the subway or buses.

We always stay at Mimaru Tokyo East every time we go to Japan as it has so many options for transport - easy to get to from Haneda (Narita is a little bit more tricky if you have lots of luggage but still ok), walkable to Tokyo station and close to Odaiba. West side of Tokyo is a little far but that’s normal in Tokyo. Property is super nice for family with kitchen and bunk beds and separate twin room with 7-Eleven on ground floor which is so convenient. Staff at front desk are super friendly and speaks great English. All in all, well stay there again for sure!

Very well maintained property in quiet location but not far from subway and Ginza. It is spacious in Tokyo standard. The pillows are not supportive. There isn’t shelves for clothes to store, but lots of hangers.

Clean and great location! Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Very close to Hibiya & Tozai lines, roughly 4-6min walk. 7-11 is downstairs. Highly recommend!

New property, well designed apmts, good range of amenities. Staff exceptionally friendly, helpful & welcoming. Perfect location for access to city, shopping, transport, eateries. On site cafe had great food at very reasonable prices. Seven Eleven store adjacent to property well stocked & convenient. Rooms spotlessly clean & regularly serviced. We enjoyed our stay at this apmt & would most definitely stay again on next visit to Tokyo

Lobby staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Clean room, comfortable beds. Hotel very close to subway station. Very convenient to have 7-11 and pharmacy next door.

The hotel itself was nice. The room was reasonably big and clean, with a small table and kitchen suitable for a bit of breakfast (there’s a rice ball and bread shop Kayabaya nearby which is awesome). The location was not great though. There’s the H line subway nearby but that’s not that convenient, and it’s quite a walk from Tokyo Central.

Great people, and staff. Stayed here with a family of 5. There’s a 7-11 conveniently located on the ground level and staff speak both English and Japanese at the very least. Highly recommend.

7-11 connected to the entrance for quick morning bite. Short distance to train station. Staff is fluent in English. Entrance to hotel locks during evening hours and requires keycard access. Elevator requires keycard access and always stops/opens at lobby reception area in view of staff.

Had a small family room. Was good for 2 adults and 2 teens. Hotel was clean, beds firm and comfortable. Nice bathroom and shower. Good location near transit station. Less than 2km from Tokyo station and 2-3km walk to Imperial Palace. Hotel staff spoke very good English. 7-11 was on the ground floor of the hotel. Convenient for snacks/light food options. Would definitely stay here or at another MIMARU again.

Booked one of the connected two-unit rooms with a total of 4 bedrooms. 7 adults shared the 2 rooms. Small, but enough space especially for the amount of time spent in the room. Property was convenient to get to from HND, really friendly & helpful staff. Public transit options close by, as well as tons of restaurants & a 7-11 on the lower level of the building. Overall very impressed with the property & had a great stay. My only negative would be the size of the bedrooms - not really any space to unpack luggage or even store the larger bags. Basically had to live out of the suitcase & stack/pile them in the corner. Would still highly recommend especially for a larger group.

Clean. About 10 minutes from Tokyo station.

Nice idea to have a family friendly hotel. But poorly executed. (1) There was no closet in one bedroom. No place at all to hang clothes (2) No space for luggage anywhere. If all ended up open on the family room floor. (3) The master bedroom bathroom lacked a toilet. What the heck? How stupid is that?

We really enjoyed the layout of the room, with two bedrooms and separate living area. Great for families! Having a laundry available in the hotel was also very handy, just need coins as detergent is provided. We also appreciated having a kitchen in the room as it made kids meal preparations much easier. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Mimaru! Thank you!

Walkable to Ginza shopping area and near train station

The common areas were dirty. Carpet in common area are not clean. Hotel facilities such as outsourced laundry are advertised in the lifts but hotel staff do not understand how to deal with it

Hotel staff: 10/10 Speaks fluent English and able to explain well. Airport luggage delivery is a breeze. Room: 8/10 Additional Shower head holder should be installed directly in bathtub too to ease showering in bathtub. More hooks for hanging clothes should be installed either behind door or wall in the toilet. Housekeeping every 4th night but still consider acceptable. Daily touch up of bedsheet and change of towels and trash bags. Room is spacious with living room, sofa and dining table. If possible to include a washing machine and ironing board. Great if Laundry service to provide same day washing and delivering. Also comes with air purifier. Dishes and kitchen accessories are all well equipped. Comes with microwave and mini oven. Knives, dishes all provided. However no complimentary bottled water citing environmental reason. Location: nearby to most metro line but if need to use JR pass, can walk few steps further from Hatchobori station. Comes with 7-11 shop

Our family traveled throughout Japan, but Mimaru was by far our favorite property. With a larger square footage for our family to relax in between our sightseeing activities to the laundry machines, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a little convenience store downstairs and a restaurant - which helped us with storing food in our kitchenette. The front staff was super helpful from booking our taxi to the airport, and much more.

Our family of four have enjoyed a wonderful stay at Mimaru Tokyo Station East in a two bedroom room. It was an easy walk to so many restaurants and to several different stations to access all of Tokyo. We would be very happy to stay again!

Saddled between two subway lines, approximately 1-2 blocks in either direction, this Mimaru is intuitively equipped, clean, and friendly. I haven’t been to other Mimaru locations so I can’t compare. The front staff was well versed in English, although there was a hiccup when we asked for a taxi. Initially, we were told there would be no issues, but then the time came and we were informed that because we were a group of 5, all taxi vans were already reserved until the evening, to my horror. She suggested Uber Black and we were able to make our flight on time. The subway alternative would have been anxiety inducing (large luggages, two small children, stroller….) I would definitely use Mimaru again.

Amazing customer service! Staff were super friendly and always made us feel welcomed. Rooms were cleaned everyday and overall it was a comfortable stay. Staff also helped us with retrieving lost baggage that we accidentally left on a Shinkansen. Will recommend to others and come back to stay again.

Close to Tokyo and Hatchobri stations. Walkable to dining options and has a grocery store and convenience stores nearby. Staff are very friendly.
