only two small things that needed more care, only two lights out of five were working in bathroom, and the bowl of fruit in the room was old and needed refreshing the grapes were shrivelled up and brown. but only minor points

Everything met my expectations

All the descriptions and the photos matched the description and the photos. Rooms were comfortable, breakfast great, espresso machine in the room was a nice addition. Everything was well thought through and the staff was extremely helpful and nice!

The room was most comfortable with great heating in a cold snap! Very clean and the bed was most comfortable. ALl I need in a hotel room. the location is right in the middle of this beautiful town. Couldn't ask for more.

Check in is quite limited in hours but absolutely understandable for a hotel in this very small town. Those needing to sleep in just bear in mind the church bells ring hourly from 7 am. still worth a 1 night stay

We have stayed in Les Glycines several times over the past years. Being in Vezelay it is a convenient overnight stop on the long drive down to Provence on holiday. This boutique hotel is unique: an inspired restoration of an old house in the middle of this historic (traffic-less) medieval village on the old pilgrim trail. The sister restaurant ('La Terrasse') nearby on the square in front of the basilica is excellent.

Given the Covid restrictions, the usually excellent buffet breakfast was replaced with a more simple one offering less choice but delivered to the table.

A quaint guest house at the heart of the village with beautifully decorated rooms. The associated restaurant next to the Basilica was excellent as was the petit dejeuner
