Frustrating that even as a guest couldn't get into the hotel bar. Busy with xmas events

Was good, pillows are quite hard so struggled to sleep but all in all it was a nice stay.
Very easy to get to and great location for walking around the city center if you came by train!

Check in was great. Staff went over and above. Really helpful and friendly. Beds really comfortable lots of pillows. Breakfast really nice. The poached eggs were one of the best i have had. The blueberry muffin was really fresh and tasty.
Position of hotel really good. Complimentary hot chocolate in reception was a really nice touch. Would definitely stay here again

Booked a cosy room, so knew it wasnt large. Only gripe was that we kept knocking into the hanging ironing board, storage for that could be better!

From check in to check out it was fabulous. Friendly and helpful staff from reception to security, comfy bed spotlessly clean.
Breakfast had so much choice and plenty of it.

The room was clean and tidy but weird light set up. No big light just a mirror and two side lights which was odd.
Bed was comfy you could here the traffic and city noise but thats what you get for right in city centre.
The overall vide was oppulence and love the original lift doors.

Paid £30 for breakfast at the time of booking through hotels.com, was disappointed to see I had to pay extra for freshly cooked items.

Lovely hotel situated right next to the station, it even has anventrance from the station to avoid going outside! Will certai ly stay again!

Good hotel really enjoyed our stay. Only issue no full length mirror or a mirror close to a plug to use hairdryer/straightners etc

The hotel bed wasnt good for us very uncomfortable. Never got a wink of sleep for this reason we wont be returning unfortunately.

Hotel check in was great, room was small shower didn’t drain and room wasn’t particularily clean, downstairs in entrance was beautiful and breakfast was excellent . Would I return.. no expensive for what it was .

I have stayed at The Queen’s Hotel before and I have always found it very comfortable and convenient. Staff are always friendly and accommodating.

My daughter and I stayed at The Queens Hotel for one night. We had a twin room. It was well decorated, had comfy beds, a bath, a towel warmer that worked etc etc. The hotel is well located. Breakfast was ok. Would stay again.

Very lovely hotel. Stylish and grand. Dinner in the restaurant was very tasty (mains were large). The room was comfortable but the bathroom was very small. All the staff were welcoming and accommodating.

A night away for my birthday and the service from checking in to the service at the bar was amazing.the bar manager never stopped all night and serving 2/3 people at the same time which is class.

Reception staff were great and very helpful as were housekeeping. Lovely room - very comfortable.
Did however find the bar and breakfast room unwelcoming for a woman on her own.

I loved the location of the hotel, as it is connected to the station and the parking of the station. shopping in walkable distance. the lady in the reception very friendly and was smiling while taking to me through the check in and out.
