Tv didn’t work. Trash in the hall all the time. Mold in bathroom. Bathroom door didn’t shut. Great breakfast.

Wasn’t able to get checked into my room until 11:50pm. They had no rooms cleaned

Took forever to get checked in. Waited 2 hours for my room. It was 10:30pm before I got my room

Found check-in to be longer than usual. Either system was slow or front desk person was new.
Also no phone in the room

We have stayed here before and as always the room is pleasant, the breakfast OK and the coffee is hot. Only problem this trip the desk clerk and some gentleman another employee were carrying on a converstaion outside our room at 4 am making sleep very difficult. They stopped about 6 am.

The stay was fine. Breakfast was ok. Need to extend breakfast hours a little bit later. AC was leaking and carpet was damp in the room.

The door to the room needed to be shaved down and would not close on its own
The faucet to room 325 was backward, hot was cold and cold was hot
The tub faucet was loose and felt like it would come apart
Room service was every other day and we went for 3 days without it until I complained
The staff were very nice and the house keepers tried to make amends
Would not stay there again though.

I was put in a handicap room which is ok considering I checked in late. However the floor was soak and wet which caused the room to have a odor. There also was no phone to call the front desk.

Comforter was visibly dirty. Shade curtain had something orange splashed all over it. The hotel and room smelled musty and made you feel damp. The hallway floor was also wet so every time we walked into our room we tracked wet footprints in.
The staff and the breakfast were great though.

Left this hotel due to lack of humidity control in the room after 2 days. High volume made it feel impersonal although dest attendant was really nice.

The front desk personnel were nice and welcoming but seemed unsupported and understaffed as it was booked to capacity. Our stay was unsatisfactory, particularly for this part of Birmingham. The hotel was run down (eg our shower floor was peeling) and the lobby felt stuffy, like there was no air and a faint cigarette smell. One of our rooms had a broken A/C that was loud to the point they couldn't sleep, and in another room the A/C was moldy. We had one thin bath towel in a king room. Beds were comfortable and considering the busyness this week, staff were accommodating. I prefer to leave positive reviews but the whole experience was un-Hampton like and I wouldn't stay here again.

The front desk gave us a key to someone else’s room who happen to have 3 dogs. We opened the door to growling and barking! When we went back to the front desk to let her know, her response was “oh really?”. No apology, nothing. Also, breakfast was pretty much bare! Very disappointed and not worth what we paid.

Upon check in the staff member was extremely rude. She told me I had to pay even tho I had prepaid for my room on June 19. Once we got to our room it was not the room I had booked. I booked two queen and got a king with a sleeper sofa. When I asked the lady about it she told me that is what I booked even tho I was showing her otherwise. She told me to go find another hotel if I didn’t like it. The room had a terrible smell or mildew, the carpet was wet in several spots, the shower was dirty. While sitting in our room another person entered our room with a key. The lady at front desk had given her a key as if it was double booked. I was never actually charged the payment she demanded so I’m thinking she got two customers mixed up. The problem was that she was not willing to investigate the issue at all, even tho it was her fault.
Issues aside the hotel is nice but that one staff member was absolutely terrible. The lady that was there Saturday morning was extremely nice and appalled but what took place Friday night.

Air didn’t work in lobby breakfast area or hallways, during breakfast there was too many things plugged in so it kept tripping the breaker to shut off. Couldn’t even toast bagels . No chair for desk in room, no ironing board cover no iron, no hair dryer, floor in bathroom was gross, hair in shower, floor was soaked in room , couldn’t regulate temp bc it was trying to compensate for the hotness outside of room . I spoke with manager before leaving and she is supposed to give me points for honors rewards to compensate and was willing to make sure those things were taken care of. She was extremely nice. But my $200 stay seemed more like a $60 stay

Did not get the room we had reserved a week prior to arrival. Bed linens were stained. Rooms are only cleaned every two days. Room phones were disconnected so you had to walk to desk to get extra towels.

The bed was beyond hard. We should’ve been notified that we had joint rooms even though we didn’t book that. Couldn’t get comfortable due to these conditions. Do better next time.

The young lady that checked us in was great. When I asked for a luggage carrier I was told I could get one on the 4th floor, not let me get you one. As we were checking out, my wife asked if there was another restroom that she could use,the woman with the tattoo on her neck didn't look up and just said no. I don't see how you command the rates that you do. It's not a 3 star hotel, but more like a 2 star. I won't be staying in a Hampton inn again.

The bathroom faucet pipe leaked profusely when in use. Dispensers for shampoo and shower gel empty on shower wall. Handle to shower door broken. Was it vacuumed?

The location was great and the overall appearance was great. My only issue was after walking around in my black socks, there was an abundance of pet hair on the bottom of my socks. It appears the carpet had not been vacuumed thoroughly. There were food crumbs on the floor that were not mine. The desk chair had pet hair and crumbs on it as well. I would suggest getting a hand-held vacuum and possibly a more UPDATED carpet vacuum.
