Air conditioner in the room was extremely loud and heat was turned on to high when we arrived to the room, room was not clean with leftover wrappers everywhere. Phone did not work, tv turned on but did not change channels. Hotel “restaurant” food was barely edible. We are traveling cross country and have stayed at IHG every night, this was by far the worst one.

We had a great breakfast with organic and free range options. The room was nice and clean. There are other hotels in the area and there’s not much to walk to but it’s a short ride to downtown area where there are plenty of restaurants. I would stay here again.

Not worth the money hallway noise at 3 am unacceptable ,tv not working after 4 hours of waiting had to change rooms ,hotel maintenance no where in sight, clientele was different,not sure if illegal migrate were saying there ,stay somewhere else

Room was beautiful and comfy. The bartender at the bar was a great mixologist and helped us get something delicious when we were unsure of what we wanted.

Great place, great front desk service. Got to my room and it already had someone in it then get to my next room and it’s a queen bed instead of a king like I reserved. Overall, nice hotel just need to tighten some loose ends

Upon arrival, I had to call for soap for the sink to wash my hands. The TV was not working properly. It took three people to assist in getting it fixed, which prolonged my time and getting relaxed after a 4 Hour drive. The next day, at 3 PM I called to ask when I would get housekeeping because I needed towels and washcloths. Housekeeping never arrived, I was called back to ask if you would come when I stated no, I was told someone would bring me the towels and washcloths. I waited another hour, finally I went downstairs to get it myself. When I arrive back to the room, the key card didn’t work. It was just an overall bad experience. I don’t think that anyone was concerned. Housekeeping never came so the linen on the bed was not changed nor were any of the trash liners removed. I had to smell my leftover food the entire time I was there.

The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was Awesome. The 2 guys that were cleaning around the area was very friendly. The muffins were especially delicious. All over great experience.

This was perfect for the softball tournament we were in town for. Located close to everything significant. Hotel was clean, updated & the beds were comfortable. The staff was also very friendly!

Our first stay was great; everyone was friendly. However, the overall attention to detail, especially at the front desk, could be improved. The room seemed like it needed some maintenance, and it appeared that a remodel was either starting or in progress. Overall, I would rate our combined experiences at 6.5 out of 10.

Everything about this hotel was good. Breakfast is always good when they offer between bacon and sausage and not just sausage. I have solely booked hotels on the breakfast menu alone and Holiday Inn has the best breakfast.

The only thing I didn't like was the '89 box Chevy sound the heater-A/C unit makes; def made it a bit difficult to stay asleep.
Other than that, the stay was awesome.
Room has a modern touch that makes you appreciate your money spent there.
It's conveniently located near major stores & restaurants; literally nothing is too far away from this location.
The clean pool was definitely the icing on the cake. The pool room was nice & warm giving the water a much more tolerable approache to dive right in.
Pool towels were provided & plenty; just wish they were located inside the warm pool room opposed to the freezing corridor.

As I jokingly said to the lady at the desk the night of my stay, "my college dorm room was more sophisticated than my hotel room".
The wifi was weak, the TV didn't work properly (input button wouldn't work), the microwave didn't function correctly. The layout of the room is just so odd... such a poor use of space. The bathroom was fine but again... the layout. I don't understand why the toilet paper is so far away.
Only one elevator that I counted, the elevator was dirty. I was in town for a funeral and was going to be staying in Roanoke for approx 4.5 days... I wanted to be comfortable. The room at the Holiday Inn did NOT meet my standards.

Bed was comfy but they didn’t have a tv remote in the room looked under the bed to see if it just fell and that was a mistake. They charged for a breakfast that was that same at other hotels that offer it free with there cheaper room.

Nice decor! Just not maintained well. Popcorn ceiling needs some fixing. Carpet needs a good cleaning!
Bed too soft for me (or may be too worn out). Pillows the same. Ended up having neck pain as in the morning those pillows were flat.
We were on the second floor. And it was during NCAA championship. So a lot of traffic.
But soundproofing was great!!!

Nice clean property. The main reason for staying here was airport shuttle but when I went to schedule it, they said they don’t provide the service. So if that was updated on the site, it would have been helpful.

Booked the room over a month in advance. Checked in tired at 11pm only to find out our room was given to someone else. Instead of two beds, we had to sleep in one bed with our 16-yr old son. Not even a sofa in the room. We obviously got the room they give last. Didn't even get a wifi password on checkin and the front desk wouldn't answer the phone so we could ask for it. On checkout nobody greeted us or asked how our stay was. Very disappointing and will avoid Holiday Inns in the future.

The reason for my overall rating is that the hotel never received my reservation from Orbitz. I was luck that they had rooms available and honored my printed confirmation.
What happened Orbitz.
The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff was very helpful. I would stay here again.

It is definitely understaffed. Restaurant and bar were not open for the posted hours on a Saturday and Sunday. Room had many issues - broken tv, no hairdryer (which was never brought after I called the front desk), and toiletries were not stocked.
