Very good hotel, good service , great amenities, very good atmosphere at the weekend with live music. Excellent breakfast and buffet dinner .

Hotel is clean and modern, good size swimming pool. Helpful staff and great breakfast! (Made on demand omelet!) Two things to note - room is on the smaller size (for 3), and the location is not that great.

The breakfast was excellent. The lobby was modern clean and inviting. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. We also enjoyed the pool which was clean and refreshing. There was plenty of convenient parking onsite as well. The only negative was the upkeep of the bathrooms. Our bathroom door frame had significant water damage and the shower had a significant amount of mildew/mold. Both of which I would not expect to see in a 4 star hotel.

In Manaus as a city, it's quite difficult to find good hotels, there aren't many options. Keeping that in mind, this is a strictly OK option. It's absolute basic, no frill hotel for a maximum of 1 or 2 nights. Except breakfast, which was decent, everything else including rooms, wifi, cleanliness, quality of bath fittings, etc barely manages to be at an acceptable level, nothing beyond basic.

Nice property at a reasonable price. Less than ideal location but one has to compromise given the price.

The hotel is nice but the rooms smell mold. Obviously they have not been aerated for a while. The breakfast was very good.

It has been 6 or seven times in less than two years and the hotel has maintained a great staff, a comfortable, clean and nice environment and good food.

It is the Amazon....what do you expect?Has Institutional feel . Very basic.

Location is in an hotel area. Nothing to do walking distance. 30 minutes from airport. Hotel facilities are great, pool, restaurant, bed, bathroom, wifi, all services are good and room is very clean.

We booked and prepaid two rooms but the hotel sold our rooms to someone else and moved us to their shabby sister hotel a block away.There is a bar at the hotel with an expert barman who has never heard of gin and whose addition skills involve the sum of 18 and 28 being 56.

It is not in the centre of Manaus but makes up for it with superb service. The centre is a £6 taxi ride away, the pool with birds and dragonflies swooping down was a delight and the staff could not do enough. The room, like everything else in the Novotel Manaus was a nice surprise.

A perfect stopover when travelling to Amazon. The pool was very welcome on our return from the jungle. Located in the industrial area but fine for us as tourists. Clean and comfortable.

We stayed here for one night only as a layover on the way to an Amazon adventure. Thought that it was average until we had to spend a night in another hotel because the airline had overbooked our flights. The Novotel was superior to the Best Western downtown - that the airline put us up in. So, by N. American standards, it was average but by Manaus standards, it was superb.

The location in the Zona Industrial is a little removed. Howver, the facility although ageing, is extremely well maintained and the staff very helpful. The rooms are nice with effective air conditioning and very nice bath/shower installations. Overall, I liked the Novotel a great deal and would not hesitate to return.

the hotel was good quite far from the downtown but as there exist taxi it's not a big problem the stuff was helpful (can say nothing about their English as I speak Portugues) rooms were clean and the air conditioner worked well the breakfast was very good

The hotel is nothing fancy but a decent choice if you have to stay just a night to catch your plane, cruise or whatever you came for to Manaus the next day (like us). After reading reviews about the center of the city we weren't sure what to expect there so we booked the Novotel which is a little bit outsite and we are glad that we decided this way. The center is still only a short cab ride away. The Novotel is certainly nothing to brag about but I don't have any complaints either. Nondescript room but clean. The breakfast buffet is like anywhere else in Brazil. The safe in our room didn't work when we arrived and the first maintenance guy couldn't figure it out. They came back two times by themselves to get it fixed within a few minutes (on a Saturday). High points to the hotel for that.
