Verbally abused at check in by a prostitute while the staff did nothing. Filthy room. Dead cockroaches in the bed sheets. This is the worst place I've ever stayed. Completely low class. Decent accommodations at this price were available all over the area. I have to question Hotels.com for even listing this dump. Next time I'll do my own reviewing.

Is very old

I reserved a king room. There were none available when I checked in. Room was dirty: floor gritty, carpet dirty and hair in shower. Poor value for $90

The outside of the hotel prompted me to go inside where there was a leaking ceiling and a bucket in the middle of the floor of the lobby and ask if the rooms were as old and run down as the exterior. I was offered the opportunity to go and look at the rooms which appeared to be fairly clean, but smelled extremely strongly of mothballs and was just not the place I would ever stay. I was told that I would receive a refund and I'm waiting to see if that in fact occurs. The staff was very understanding and professional

Room in very poor condition-stained carpet, heavy dust/debris on carpet in corners, along baseboards, and behind bed. Peeling paint on the walls, frayed carpet, and the room had an odor of stale cigarette smoke. Mattress was old and uncomfortable. Cleanliness of room was poor overall. Furniture in room was old, outdated, and in poor condition. “Free breakfast” was a joke. The only edible items were the sausage links. We will not stay at this hotel ever again.

It was good stay comphy bed but it needs remodeling otherwise it's okay friendly staff and clean

Older hotel. Clean and quiet.

Hotel is very outdated. Room was on second floor. Steps were falling apart and needs TLC Room was big. Bed was comfortable. Shampoo bottles in shower were empty. Corner chair was either 30 years old or very dirty. Good for the price but won’t stay there next time.

230p still need cleaning room, but parking lot was empty. We came back, room assigned on first floor. Smelled damp and moldy. Looked beat-up, like still in the 60's. Front door had 5 locks on it. ( safety?). It is just an old, old run down property. Amazed this is a Wyndham property. Sad

Speedy service

Stay at your own risk. Room 232 has clearly been broken into before. The door did not seal, the swing hasp was broken, and the window was pushed in. More than a few seedy looking individuals milling about the property also.

Needs work

My stay was okay, however the water is awful!! I filled a cup to brush my teeth, the water was a little brown and sediment or something floating in the cup , also noticed when taking a shower. Won't stay here again.

Arrived to check in, woman behind the counter was sleeping… full on snoring/deep sleeping. After repeatedly saying “Mam!”… I went to the car and had my husband honk the horn. That still didn’t wake her up. I went back in and got louder, “Hello, Mam!!?” … she finally woke up and wasn’t very personable, friendly, or welcoming. Additionally, the room smelled like cigarette smoke and the stairs we had to use to get to our room had water dripping on us from an earlier rain. The ice machine on the second floor near our room was also broken and the bedroom sheets had stains on them. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this location. Wasted 10 minutes of my life trying to check in to a less than mediocre hotel.

The customer service was very bad, the bathrooms were clogged, cockroaches, not clean, the bathrooms were smelly, the room had the smell of cigarettes, not pleasant for the family. breakfast is the only good thing in the sense of the word, very friendly and helpful. General 1

Rooms floors and bathroom were dirty.

start by two buckets in the lobby due to leaks when it wasn't even raining. Personal was very mean. The room was dirty, the bathtub clogged and to top things there was roaches all over.

Flooding of sidewalks into rooms; horrible smell of mold/mildew rooms; mold/mildew seen throughout room.

We couldn't get into our room. The door has been broken into and then dead bolted. The customer service employee at the front desk was pleasant. She walked up to confirm, she put us in the room next door. It smelt like a gym room. The carpet was torn up where it met the bathroom tile. This left nails and staples that my child and i stepped on. The shower knobs weren't in proper working condition. So when we attempted to get clean, we got burned by the water because the temperature was adjusting on it's own. The drain didn't drain when the shower was on, so we had to shower in a moldy bathroom in water up to our shins. This was an absolutely disgusting and disappointing experience and definitely NOT SAFE FOR FAMILIES. There were other people staying in the hotel with visible needles on their persons. I was approached in the parking lot twice by homeless men who were clearly under the influence, during the morning before check out. I would appreciate it if our night tonight was covered in a hotel in Ellenton Florida.

honestly this is just a very run down hotel , front desk was very sweet but we just did not feel safe and decided to checkout right away and find another lodge Room smelled of cigarets , lights in room flickered like a scene from a horror movie. Place overall felt creepy .

The room had a smell, carpet was old and looked dirty. There was a dead roach and we saw a few live ones around. The toilet had a valve problem too. It was not the worst but we feel they need to look into these problems to make it better for them and the next guests.

We got in late and was disappointed to learn the pool closes at 8:00 p.m. When we walked into our room (137) we noticed a strong musty smell, and the carpet looked dirty. The rooms were cool and finding another place that could accommodate our party of 5 this late would be impossible on a holiday weekend so we decided to tough it out. The windows do not have black out curtains so the light outside the door made it hard to sleep well, the beds were ok but not the most comfortable, The following morning my eyes were swollen which meant for me that there was likely mold in the room, looking in the bathroom we noticed water damaged walls that had been painted over to look better than they were. The toilet paper holder was loose due to wall damage. top layer of drywall, which had been originally covered in wallpaper had now been painted over to make the walls appear to be in better shape than they were. The tile was loose due to water damaged walls close to the floor behind the toilet and there was mold showing through the paint above the shower. The half bath in the second room had the sound of dripping water inside the wall. Breakfast was good but there were signs of water damage on the ceiling in the dining area. It's obvious that proper water damage repair had not taken place post hurricane even though it's been well over a year. I expressed my disappointment and was told a manager would call me to discuss my stay. It has been 5 days and no call has been received.

Clothes and bikes treks swing

I found 3 dead roaches on the floor.

We picked this hotel for the price and it was 3 miles from the beaches. It's old and the maintenance is below average. The bathrooms are basically clean but tile grout in the shower was black with mold. The 4 inch cockroach on the last day didn't help either. The pool was fine, and the breakfast minimal but ok. It is what it is.

The nicest staff. Always willing to help. It was not clean and a stopped up sink . I really didn’t want to stay there.

Non of the drains worked properly, they were plugged, also some baby roaches on my room, they need to call an specialist, a guy was fumigating in the common areas but is not enough, they need experts. Other than that was clean and quiet, nice staff

No hot water in the shower and water on the bathroon floor which I never found out where it cane from. We were going to stay 3 nights and only stayed one
