Wonderful place. Gave us an upgrade to a suite. We stayed only one night, would have stayed longer if we could. Nice hot tub and pool, great breakfast included, wine and cheese at happy hour. Staff was great

Had a really comfortable stay. The room style is a little dated, but spacious. We had a separate kitchen, with hob oven full fridge freezer & microwave, lounge area, with separate bedroom & bathroom. I could easily forgive it being a bit dated, because they also give complimentary continental breakfast, complementary wine between 4.30 & 6pm and free use of pedal cycles, helmets & locks. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Excellent value in this location.

I thought the staff was excellent. Check in was a breeze. They offer awesome perks like breakfast, happy hour, and rental bikes to go around Santa Barbara, all for free. we even checked out some free DVDs to watch in the room. The room itself is the perfect middle ground between hotel and Airbnb. There was a kitchen and dining area, as well as a living room to relax in. It really was a great spot to stay. We'll definitely be coming back.

On our trip to Santa Barbara we stayed at Brisas del Mar. Room was very comfortable but a little dated. Our unit had a full kitchen so having a frig and microwave was really nice. The free breakfast was very convenient and was superior to what you'd get at other hotels (e.g., Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, etc). We traveled in/out of Santa Barbara via Amtrak so the location of the hotel a few blocks from the station was great. Only complaint is we could hear the people above us walking around in the evening when we were trying to fall asleep.

Very cute boutique hotel not too far from the beach and downtown. They offer bikes that are in great condition and complimentary as well as a complimentary wine and cheese happy hour which was perfect. Pool was a little chilly at first but great after a hot tub dip. Not much of a gym but they have a few cardio machines. Staff very helpful and friendly with lots of suggestions. I would stay here again!

We were very happy with our stay. The hotel has a small inn like charm with lots of hospitality touches like their great free breakfast and happy hour, there were lots of nice places to relax and enjoy these things around the property. There was always someone around taking care of the place. We loved the pool for our kids. The grounds were family friendly but never too crowded. It seemed like a place many different kinds of travelers could enjoy. I could see us enjoying this place without our kids as a romantic getaway as well. My only complaint was that the room was smaller than it seemed in pictures and the “full kitchen” did not have an oven, but they provided a toaster oven upon request so that was nice!

It is a quaint hotel with rooms looking to the courtyard. One room has been updated and looked very nice, the other was a bit dated. Pool was nice. Breakfast was included but you were supposed to put it on a tray and take it to your room. Parking was included and that was nice. The beach, the pier, the old town were all reasonably close by car and the old city is lovely. Weather is always great.

Lovely hotel that has been kept up very well . The room was large and we received a free upgrade to a room with a living room area , dining table and full kitchen . Would be great for anyone needing a long term stay . The staff was very friendly and it is close to the beach . Great stay and will be back again soon !

1.They didn’t mention if they had elevators we stayed in room #27 and didn’t know so we lugged our luggage up to the 3rd floor
2. The restroom faucet water smelled like rotten sewer water so bad!

The hotel was cute, clean, and quiet. Great for families. Love that it was a 10 minute walk to the beach. It was also a 10 minute walk to State Street ( of course the opportunity way).

The hotel was lovely. Located near other hotels, the gas station, and (most importantly) a number of great restaurants and beach access points. The hotel room was well situated and I had no problem accessing the wifi when I needed it. The pool was great at the end of the day. And this is a small detail, but the colorful stairs were a favorite location of our kids! We will definitely return.

Brisas del Mar is walking distance to State Street and all the amenities of the beach/harbor. The kids loved grabbing complimentary breakfast and playing at the pool. The wife looked forward to wine and cheese happy hour from 4:30-6:30pm.

First, Esteban who welcomed us was smart and extremely professional. The included breakfast and free parking are nice perks. The pool area is small. Location is very good, 3 blocks from the waterfront and close to the pier. Our room was on the first floor and a bit noisy from foot traffic upstairs. We were "upgraded" to an ADA junior suite and our friend's standard king room seemed better appointed... On the whole, a good moderately priced choice.
