Although hotels.com knew 5 were staying in the room, we.arrived very late and exhausted with a cantankerous toddler and two boys only to find there were no bed linens or pillows even in the room for the two boys. When we went to call the front desk, we found the phone completely disconnected. When we checked in, the lady at the front desk did not mention anything about texting for service, so my husband had to walk all the way back down to the front desk at 2:30 a.m. to ask for bed linens before our kids could sleep. The upholstry on the pull-out couch was quite dirty. The king size bed was comfortable and its bed linens looked and smelled clean and the bathroom was clean. Overall, you get what you pay for. Since it saved us $100 to stay there, I guess it was still worth it, but we only slept there. Would not recommend it for anything else.

Exactly what my family and I were looking for for our overnight on the way to Florida. Clean room, comfortable beds, and a really good breakfast. We found our new spot.

first the girl at the front desk was very nice and could not be more helpful. the first room we were assigned was opened when we got there and not fully cleaned. the next room we got was also not really cleaned and smelled. One of the pillows had pink mold and when ii woke up I had a sucking candy stuck to my leg. I dont eat candy and noting in bed. how gross. what happen to this place we have been staying here twice a year for the last 7 years on our trips to Florida and have never had an issue.

Everything was as expected accept the pillows. Very small and no support. Invest in ‘My Piilow’ and no one will complain.

Overall nice stay. My only two negatives were that the pool said “closed for maintenance”, but you could see from the color of the water that they are not maintaining the water properly. Summer in the south should be pool is ready season. The pet fee is also very high here. 75.00 for one pet. Otherwise it was a great stay, and we would consider staying again.

The couch in the room was old and dirty and there was body lotion in the shower where conditioner should have been, but the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was mediocre and the pool was closed, which was disappointing as the hotel was selected for its amenities.

Check in attendant was courtesy and efficient. If only the room looked as good as the exterior it would have been a better choice. The bed comforter was stained and had an unpleasant body odor, fortunately I booked a room with two queen beds.

The pool was temporarily closed, which was not mentioned anywhere on there web site. Looks like it has been closed quite a while, pool water was green and the deck chairs piled in a heap off to the side. There was no shampoo in the shower and drain in the shower was super slow.

Dirty smudges on the walls, ceiling fan covered with dust, AC vent covered with dust, door falling off hinge of refrigerator cabinet, rust stain running down bathroom tub, overall rooms were filthy. Requested a new room, was given a new room but was only a slight improvement. Definitely not worth over $200/night for the condition. Most likely better off spending the extra money and staying across the street at the new Fairfield by Marriott.

At the Hampton in Port Wentworth, the clerk
1. Gave my room number to another guest who used their key to try to get into my room
2. Canceled my key (I assume in trying to cancel the other guest’s key) so I had to go back to the desk to get help getting in.
3. Put her hand on my back and called me “honey” as she escorted me back to my room to show me how to use the key properly….
4. While loudly singing an evangelical hymn in the hallway
5. Gave testimony in an apparent attempt to “convert” me to Christianity, as well as a Jewish lady.
6. Announced to the people gathered at the counter that we could save the world by being submissive to our husbands.
7.My bed comforter (white) was not clean; had a dark stain.
7.Breakfast was not good, except for eggs and coffee. All the pastries and muffins were cold and dry.
