For our annual trip to Ibiza we choose for the first time this place near to the port, the service was great 🙏

Overall good stay staff helpful and location great for Ibiza town and bus station all on your doorstep for getting around the island rooms are a little dated and have thin walls but on the whole great location and breakfast was awesome ask for eggs and bacon no problem whatsoever …Also roof top pool hard to come by in the town what’s not to like overall very good.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Royal Plaza with my son and daughter. The hotel was traditional and a great location for Ibiza port and old town. It was very clean and good value with friendly staff.

The hotel is really well situated and minutes walk away from the port where there are lots of really nice restaurants and bars. It wasn’t very noisy and the area was quite quiet. The actual hotel was a bit outdated but it was comfortable enough to sleep and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Decently priced too!

Honestly, it was just ok. I was only here for 2 nights, a longer stay and I probably would’ve wished I’d book somewhere else.
Mainly, the walls and floors were thin so I could hear everything from my neighbors and the cleaning crew. Non-smoking room, but smelled like the previous guest had smoked in there (not the hotel’s fault if the previous guest broke the rules but still unpleasant).
Safe was broken, so after I created a code, the door was stuck closed. Fortunately, I always test an in room safe before putting my belongings in there, but I wasn’t able to use it because of the jammed door.
Other than that, it was fine. Nothing wrong. Bed was firm, but comfortable enough. The area is ok. I loved staying near the port, but the surroundings of the hotel felt…rundown a bit.
Would I stay again? Probably, if I was traveling on a budget. But if I could afford a nicer hotel, it would definitely be worth it.
TL;DR Hotel was fine for a cheap room, and nothing was majorly wrong. But wasn’t fantastic either. Good budget choice.

Honestly did not expect such a spacious room! Balcony was huge too! Really enjoyed my stay and the staff were friendly and able to accommodate to a non-Spanish speaking person like me!

Really nice hotel, my issue was the late check in.
At 1pm they don’t allow you to check in, so i had to leave my luggage in storage and as i had to go into town and i managed to actually check in at 10pm. It felt to me like the hotel intentionally don’t want customers checking in early. I only managed to sleep in the hotel, and in the morning i requested if possible to check out at 1 pm as i they only checked me in at 10 pm the night before. I had to pay 30Euro for this. This was quite disappointing and i felt the older hotel staff in reception could be a little bit friendlier.
While most of the young male staff where very friendly and welcoming, the female staff in particular in reception was like Hitler, and it’s nice when as a paying customer you are made to feel welcome in a hotel of this kind.

Great location for walking around Old Town Ibiza, a great place if you want to be near everything but not right amongst it.
Very helpful staff and well appointed room. Very happy with our choice of stay.

Overall a good place to stay. I stayed there for 1 night and would go back. One interesting system they have is that the room key is needed to enable electricity in outlets near the bed otherwise only a few outlets that are near the door will have electricity. I personally like it when hotels have irons and this one did not, however, there was complimentary water bottles which are always appreciated.

The hotel remains same as 40 years before… The bathroom is hold… No tissues available in room or in bathroom… Poor lightening in room so I was obliged to use my phone’s light early morning when no daily light can help. Anyway I just booked to stay few hours before taking an early morning flight…

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Royal Plaza. The room was clean and spacious and we loved the balcony!
We had a great time at the swimming pool and the views from the rooftop terrace are wonderful.
The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to port and bus stop as well as plenty of shops and amazing restaurants.
Overall, we had a great experience and the staff was friendly and accommodating as we asked to store our bags with them while we explored during our last day until our evening flight.
As it was our first time in Ibiza, this hotel will always have a special place in our hearts.

The room was small, but it was clean and comfortable and had good air conditioning. The staff were nice enough to call me a taxi to the airport when I checked out.

The hotel is very dated. Mattress was painfully firm. Was unable to use the gym amenity. One of the reasons why I booked was to have gym access but was unable to use because it opened so late in the morning. Front desk and hostess at breakfast were very friendly and helpful.

It's a nice hotel, bit dated but very clean and a great breakfast! All the staff is very friendly and helpful. 200£ was a good value for money especially in Ibiza town

Very disappointed that there were substantial roadworks and building works ongoing directly in front of the property. We were not informed about this on booking or in advance of our arrival. This made access difficult and initially on arrival very unclear - we circled the building to find a way in.
The hotel itself is fine but very old fashioned in decor and service. Breakfast was ok but could be better. They didn’t willingly offer eggs or coffee. It’s all help yourself. A bit disappointing for the price.

The hotel is not bad. But it's tired and our taxi driver dropped us off so we had to carry our luggage across a closed road on a building site and i genuinely believe that the hotel was closed for business. No notices or signs to give us a clue. But once we were in it was ok.

Wonderful hotel! The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The maids came in daily, made the beds and tidied up.
The room was very clean.
Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice, cereals, fruit, fruit juices, dried fruit, cold meats, cheeses, bread, rolls, croissants, cakes including danish pastries and donuts.
The bar on the 6th floor was good with a beautiful view of Dalt Vila. We didn't actually use the restaurants but I'm sure they matched every other facility.
The swimming pools on the roof were great. There is also a spa.
If I return to Ibiza I would definitely stay there again.

There is construction around the hotel. Expedia charged too much for the property in so much construction. The rooms are okay. There is no kettle in the rooms!

The “Royal Plaza” across the street is under construction and a constant noise all day for the foreseeable future. When completed, I’m sure it will be a positive enhancement. Until then, Hotel Royal Plaza is a well located, affordable, high end facility with great staff.

Frankly, dreary and soulless. Claims to be 4-star but feels more like 2 star. But if all you want is a bed and a bathroom, it’s ok.

We stayed here twice as it was perfectly located for the ferry to Formentera. Whilst the hotel itself is a bit dated, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Ibiza town is walkable and there are lots of decent restaurants close by.
The roof top pool is the gem of the hotel. It’s quite small but a great place to spend a few hours relaxing and taking in the ibizan sunshine.

This is a great place to stay, as all the staff are so helpful and kind. The rooms are a good size and lovely and warm. It’s close enough to walk into town and is in a quiet area. I have stayed here several times and will stay again.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel hotel right in Ibiza Town! It’s a short distance to the beach, tons of restaurants, shopping, and historical sites! The hotel staff was super friendly, the rooms were nice, and the breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious! 10/10 would stay here again!

Oct 24- building works opposite hotel start from 8am daily all day and are very noisy. The hotel is situated next to loud bars which have shouting in streets every night,all night night, one being a strip bar.
The beds are very hard. I’ve never stayed in such an uncomfortable noisy hotel. The staff are decent, however a problem with bathroom tap was not addressed when reported.
No coffee/ tea facilities, pool looked dirty so didn’t use. The 2 stars awarded are for housekeeping which was every day and to good standard. Council tax is to be paid on 4 star property and not made clear by Expedia. Would I stay again? NEVER
