We stayed in the King Bed Executive Room, and it was a very spacious room for 2 people. They have an armoire to hang clothes with a safe, and an ironing board. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean! We stayed on the 4th floor and had a very nice view of the city.
Breakfast was good (buffet style), and I appreciated being able to take it to the room and warming it up in the microwave later (since I’m not a huge morning person). The customer service was great as well! If you’re looking for a comfortable stay, look no further!

As with previous stays, the service, room, and hospitality received were ideal. The staff made me feel welcomed and appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable. The parking was great! Location was in easy walking distance of several great eateries. Appreciated the recommendations from the hotel front desk personnel.

After driving all day , check in was fine. Our room in the corner was great until Sleep time. I realize it was a Saturday nite but around 10'ish the party started next door...Around 11:30 , I believe some female quests arrived making it worst . I went down to the desk to change my room...No sense in asking them to be quiet..I will ask for my money back

Came for a medical procedure at VCU. John at the front desk was amazing! Offered us an upgrade to a nice, clean room. My 2 night stay was very comfortable.

Such a convenient location to the theater we were attending. Friendly staff at checkin and checkout.

The staff were perfectly friendly but we were woken up at 5:30 am by the fire alarm, evacuated, then quickly shuffled back inside with little more than a brief apology and no explanation for what happened. Doors slamming at 8am woke us up after a fitful nights sleep.

Very comfortable and clean room. John at desk very helpful, and thorough. He recommended a local Thai restaurant that is excellent. Minor irritant: The parking garage beneath the hotel is open, anyone from street can walk right in. However, that's mitigated by the presence of many security cameras. Nice location. Nice hotel. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Nice and helpful staff - a notch above most places. Large and varied buffet with lots of options. Awesome quiet, clean and recently remodeled room! I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express downtown. :)

We got an upgrade due to having two ribs and the computer originally putting us two floors away from each other, which works have been inconvenient at best. The facilities were clean, breakfast was great, and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful.

The only 2 negatives were parking…gotta pay?!? And the next was the breakfast lady….she was rude and not at all personable. But the overnight (sat-sun) desk lady, John (sat day shift), and desk dude (sun) were amazing.

Biggest downside- the room had a moldy smell.
Biggest upside- the best was super comfortable.
Office chair in the room was broken. Breakfast items poorly stocked after 8am. Air conditioner in the main area of my suite broken and did not blow cold. No convenience stores anywhere nearby. But, the front desk help seemed friendly, so I was grateful for that.
Next month I'll be looking into other options.

Friendly check in and checkout! Lovely room. I came down for a cup of coffee in the morning of checkout and the breakfast room had closed … however an attendant asked me if I would like to have breakfast! So thoughtful … I didn’t, however this was thoughtful.

The lobby and room was exceptionally clean. The beds were super comfortable.
The parking garage is $20/day and only has a 6' clearance.

Everything was wonderful. Smooth check in and check out. Parking was convenient. The breakfast was delicious and had a variety of choices. We even had the chance to use the fitness center, although limited, it had enough of what we needed to fit in a workout.

A very average hotel. Only outstanding point to make is that Cheryl on reception was first class in dealing with customers when rooms were unavailable due to housekeeping staff issues
