It was in a good location for getting around Lucerne.

Stayed here solo when I extended a group travel tour. This location is extremely accessible to old town, restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. Check-in was quick and there’s two elevators to get you room. I think I was upgraded to a balcony room. Bed, space, bathroom were all great. And good pillows!! If you’ve stayed around Europe you know how rare good pillows are. I would recommend this location.

Helpful staff. Small room but very clean and sufficient for our needs. Excellent restaurant round the corner and 2 minutes walk from the promenade along the lakeside.

Hotel is run down. Our room has a moldy smell especially in the bathroom. Had to keep all windows open during the night. The location is convenient to nearby tourist spots and train station.

Overpriced for a 3 star hotel as hotel was run down and looking tired. Room faced an office building and had no sheets for privacy, towels old, bed outdated, shower stall vey small with high ledge and small opening, carpets in corridors has stains and needed replacing. Also very noisy neighbourhood! At best only worth $100-120 per night!

The room we booked online had a different view and picture. When we booked ourselves in, we were given a room on the 3rd floor while my brother's family was given a room on the 4th floor. The rooms were very different even though we booked the same type of room. The room on the third floor had dirty carpet and hardly any space. When I complained, I was told that all other rooms were sold out. I was going to stay at a different hotel the next day and was then given a room on the 5th floor which was more updated so I did not change the hotel. Look at the attached picture of the carpet from the 3rd floor. It was extremely dirty and sticky. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone

We stayed for 1 night; The staff were very kind and helpful; very close and walkable to the heart of Lucerne; A delicious breakfast buffet. Overall pretty good, except our room was a bit small. We are a family of 3 and were on a 3 week vacation, so we had big bags and a little more room would've been nice.

The property advertised as having air conditioning, but our room was super hot to the point that we were unable to sleep. I put a thermostat app on my phone to see how hot it was in the room and it registered at 84 degrees F. I had called the front desk twice about the temperature, but nothing was done. There was also mold growing in the shower. I would stay at a different hotel as this hotel was in sufficient for the purposes of sleeping. Bjorn at the front desk was very pleasant when checking in.

Great location for exploring the city on foot. Parking was a challenge. The rooms were larger than we were expecting. The staff was helpful and helped in locating parking.

The front desk and housekeeping staff are all friendly and helpful, which made the experience pleasant. The amenities, however, are lacking, the breakfast is mediocre at best, and the fact that you cannot get a cup of coffee after 10 Am is puzzling. The rooms are small and common space in the hotel is lacking so it’s clear that it is only a place to sleep between site seeing. You get what you pay for. The price is right for safety and cleanliness.

Sorry to find there is no refrigerator in room. Meanwhile, The receptionists were not willing to take up my request when we arrived in the morning asking to store the luggage, we were being pass onto another staff who was neither eager in helping with our luggage storage. Anyhow the staff attending in the evening is cheerful and helpful.

Room and furnishing were quite dated and showing their wear, carpeted flooring. Great service - allowed for early check in, umbrellas for loan with a refundable deposit. Easily walkable to bus stop, train station and nearby attractions in the small city.

Air conditioning in April 24 not yet turned on . Thoughtful comforts of supplying a transformer /electric plug and cell phone holder near toilet . Worn carpet in hallways and you have to step a five inch height to get to the shower stall . Clean linens and towels .

This was a lovely, affordable hotel with a neighborhood feel in an incredibly convenient location in Lucern. Within a day we felt at home in the area and even had a favorite restaurant and coffee shop. Friendly, multi-lingual, knowledgable staff. Would definitely return!
