The worst customer service ever. The room was dirty the beds uncomfortable and nobody can sleep there. I tried to get othee room i was denied. I left the property 3 mins after checking in and they charge me for the night when they kNOW they didn't give me any other option.

We spent four days here, and were pleasantly surprised at the room, cleanliness, and breakfast. It was a bit of a struggle to take public transportation into the city, but the highlight was Gencarelli’s pizza about a block away. Highly recommended!

They charged me for $140.00 Deposit, then as soon. I got to the apartment we had a clogged sink after I washed my teeth’s Also the same sink started to leak from the pvc pipe under the sink… I called room service and they fix the sink the next day (for a bit) then as soon we start using the sink, it clogged up again… to make the story Short, they fix the sink twice and still clogging. Even the soda machine on the third floor, after I wiped my card to get a soda the only thing that did was a noise and no soda came down so I figured that I lost my money there too. I will not make another reservation in that hotel. Never!!!!

Very noisy, the phone in the room rang twice during the night at 2am and 3 am, strong smell of smoking in the “no smoking” room. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

We stayed 2 nights. Our room was clean. Beds were made each morning and towels were replenished. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was included and was better than expected. The kids enjoyed making their own waffles. There were eggs, toast, cereal, yogurt, oranges and sausages as well as juice, milk and coffee available at breakfast. Staff was pleasant. Allowed us to check in a little early which was appreciated after an 8 hour drive and helped get a crib ready for us. Only complaints was that the shower was terrible! Leaked/sprayed everywhere and only worked on a very hard, unpleasant setting. Parking was an unexpected additional fee of $30.

Booked for 5. Had to ask for bedding for the pull out couch and make that ourselves. Room smelled horrible. Hallways smelled bad too. Lots of stains in room. Cracks in walls. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Hotel is "making a comeback". Location is on road that takes one right into downtown newark so regular traffic and not much in immediate area. the shops, museums, life in downtown newark is a short walk away, but not the sexiest walk to get to it. Like many hotels right now, guests clearly come from ALL walks of life currently and clearly hotel, again currently, is honoring "government contracts". If you want sexy, this isn't it. If you need an immediate place to crash in the NY area, gather it will do.

Room was pretty good with clean bedsheets and pillows. Proper air conditioning. Comfortable beds. One thing that was lacking in the washroom was hooks to hang the cloths. Microwave was not working properly in the room. Staff was very good.

The location is good and the hotel is clean but the hotel is due for some renovations. My stay was pleasant but this Comfort Inn Hotel I would rate as average.

Hotel was clean. Beds were nice along with pillows. It was quiet. staff were polite and easy-going. Free breakfast is a plus. Good food free parking was excellent for family of five.
