The Owner was very obliging, as due to CHC being booked out & a midnight flight arrival, we knew if would be a 3am arrival. He kindly left the unit unlocked for us. While the place is showing it's age & use, it was clean & tidy, the shower was great, the sheets were clean & the beds comfy. We slept well. Would I use Larchwood Motels again? Without hesitation. It's value for money indeed. I have to say, I enjoyed teh chat with the owner teh next morning. A cheerful & kind man.

Nice location- easy to walk into Main Street. Good size accommodation for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Place is quite tired and could do with an upgrade. Walls are quite thin as you can hear people going up and down stairs. Room was of average cleanliness as some clothes were left from previous people, hair in shower, dirty pillowcase. Fine if just need somewhere to sleep.

Very out dated , bathroom shower resess floor filled up with water , shower head little water coming out for adults. Stairs very noisy ,having small children didnt help..

It was fine, not wonderful, but fine. Everything worked as it should.

The motelier was very helpful and kind.

No ventilation in bathroom/toilet area. Everything supplied but property very tired, needs upgrading. Handy to town.

Bad exposed wiring in the unit especially upstairs bedroom. Very poor voltage on electricity throughout. Grubby dish cloths in kitchen. Electric blanket did not work. Generally a very grubby place.

Just what you need as a couple after a visit to the hot springs or the fabulous ski field

The owner made the transaction easy and was accommodating with our late check in

Man on reception was very friendly. Room was very basic and had no sound proofing between rooms. Also needed to was dishes as they were not very clean.

The property was very much in need of refurbishment. Almost all of the unit needed upgrading.

Friendly staff

Dirty coffee cups and plates. Left freshly bought crumpets on the bench and while we were at the hot pools they were partially eaten by a rodent. Very unkempt.

Perfect a last minute booking and well priced for the family of 5 , good sized rooms and close to all shops and activities

The bathroom was very small and there was mould on the ceiling above the shower , on the positive side was a very comfortable bed. also no milk in the fridge.

I don't like about there security deposits it take too long to refund in your bank account. Why theres still security deposit i already paid during check in.
