Last year we loved the hotel, but this year they made a lot of changes that I didn't like, for example the pool used to close at 10pm, this time they kicked us out at 7. Before we could order food from outside and eat at the pool, this time we ordered a pizza and they told us we had to go outside the hotel or to our room but that we couldn't eat near the pool. Very sad, we were disappointed.

Do not stay here. This was probably the worst hotel I have every stayed in. Absolutely disgusting. I am confident the reviews are fake because no one in their right mind would find the conditions acceptable.

Nice hotel in a great location. The hotel is in the middle of a major renovation so it was noisy during the day in the main areas. Rooms are I need of updating. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I stayed at Newport Beach Hotel & Resort in Miami during Hurricane Milton and was very disappointed, especially with their claim of being pet-friendly. The only area to walk my dogs was a small patch of grass right next to a busy highway, and to get there, I had to walk them through a noisy construction zone and valet parking area, which felt unsafe and scared my dogs. This setup was not pet-friendly at all. The hotel failed to mention ongoing construction during booking, which meant the restaurant and gift shop were closed. The cleanliness of the room and hallways was poor, with dirty carpets and even a cockroach spotted upon check-in. Thin walls made for a noisy stay, and there was an unpleasant smell in the room at night. Check-out was a hassle, as we had to wait for a luggage cart and then were forced to leave our belongings in the lobby before pulling the car up. The valet process was chaotic, and one staff member was rude, trying to make us go back in line unnecessarily. The only positives were that most staff members were friendly, and the hotel provided protection from the storm. However, the lack of a safe pet area and the overall disorganized experience made this a stay I would not recommend, especially for pet owners.

Yes the hotel is under renovation, but they have made the effort to keep it clean and of little to no disturbance to guests. I didn’t encounter any unpleasant experiences. The location is awesome, the pool and beach area are beautiful and well kept. The bed was so comfortable, I could have stayed in it all weekend! I will definitely stay here again.

It was old and the air conditioner was not working!

To start with i paid for a beach front and i got a stick out my head of the window to see it. Icemaker had to go to another floor because it wasn't working, parking is not included had to pay 35 plus taxes per day. Pool is close until 8 pm. Still daylight in summer time.

Not so good from the beginning we reserve ocean view room charged extra but they put us away on the top off the kitchen fans so noisy see ocean away from the side and there is no option call ocean front as they said even if sold out so laid on everything, room without any thing called twice to send coffee for the coffee maker. The whole way smell weeds although it should non smoke rooms beach was a lot of garbage up to 8:30am without seats or towels

Nicole was amazing! The location was convenient for dining. The view of the beach was incredible. Can’t wait to come back.

housekeeping is excellent. the rooms are being updated, hopefully without carpet this time. if you can get past the construction six days a week, this is a great hotel in a convenient place. can’t wait to stay again after renovations

We have been here 3 times. The resort is going through a renovation. Service is always excellent. The beach is well maintained. The pool was a bit cold this time. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

Dated and dirty.

Came in from a 22 hour drive, the initial overall first impression of the room was that the amenities are slightly outdated, dull, and dingy, but had a fantastic view of the ocean and staff were very friendly and helpful, which helped overlook the environment of the room. However, that same night, while lounging in the living room, my partner and I happened to notice an insect crawling on the carpet. Upon inspection, it was indeed a roach. Multiple appeared since then and for the rest of the weekend. I even found a dead one in our bags. My fiancé was walking through the hallway and asked a bystander if she happened to be dealing with roaches, and she said her husband had just complained to the front desk to get them a new room. We didn’t complain for the simple fact that if they were on our floor, they were on every floor. At that point, we didn’t want to lose our stunning view of the water. Just a word of caution if you plan on staying here.

The only complaint I have is that I booked a suite with sea view and when I arrived I was given a completely different room, I did not receive any solution or compensation from the hotel.

Checked in for a 4 night stay. Very dissapointed with the condition of the hotel. Needs a desperate renovation which is in place right now. The rooms are very dirty. No hot water all the time. The beach is nice but managed too poorly. The sunbeds and umbrellas are always a problem and collected at 5:00 p.m which is very early for beach hours. The staff at beach is very rude and some were annoying. Potentially a nice hotel but very poorly managed. Would i visit again ? Absolutely no..

The building was under construction and the main restaurant was close for renovation, the room we were staying at, the bathroom ceiling on top of bathtub was in bad condition, like air bubbles as if water came through it.

Very good consumer services and we had a lot of fun.

There is a lot to say and I only went for a weekend. There is so many fees and so much money being paid to stay here but it’s construction nation, unable to eat in pool area unless it’s their food. There was roaches in my hotel room coming out at all hours of the day. The rugs in our room was dirty with old stains and the couch was so itchy and stinky to be on that I prefer to be out of the room instead of in. Not very happy about these vacations.

The room furniture is old and damaged. The hot tub does not work. The hot water faucet on the sink was broken. The beds in the beach cabanas were removed. There are no coffee makers or glasses in the room. There are not enough beds at the pool for all the guests.
