Wonderful hotel in a perfect location. The room was very comfortable and the shower was great. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and they had cute personalized notes for me on arrival and departure. Lots of places to get food nearby and a couple of mini supermarkets nearby too. Would stay here again for sure!

Yes, the room was modest, i.e., small, but it was perfectly clean and comfortable. More importantly, the hotel location is excellent--right next to a square with cafes, and close to major attractions. Best of all: the staff could not have been more professional, courteous, friendly, and helpful, whether with directions or a restaurant suggestion. Just what I was looking for.

We were staying in Madrid just the day we arrived in Spain and were really happy the room was ready early and we were able to check in early. Room Mate hotels usually let you check in early if the room is ready and it is so helpful especially after a long flight. The hotel is in a great spot, close to everything you want to see and do. Short walk everywhere. So many restaurants and bars close by. The room was really clean and comfortable, we have stayed here before and love the location. When we left it was only a 10 minute walk to the train station. Would stay here again when we return to Madrid.

The night receptionist was very friendly and he gave us forks for our dinner takeaway order after we forgot to ask for cutlery.

This hotel is in the perfect location, right at the edge of where you want to walk and play. And plenty of shopping, restaurants and plazas near by. And close to the metro for further trips!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great for dining and walking around Madrid, It's also a quick cab ride to the rail station and airport (really dependent on traffic). I stayed in early May, the weather was good and the hotel rate for the two story unit with the small pool was a steal.

Fantastic location easy walking to all Barcelona highlights, yet on a relatively quiet street. Room had decent storage and was very spacious and quiet. Staff is kind and welcoming and lovely. Quirky design was appreciated. Only qualms were with doors. Contained sink area doors were hard to control and toilet stall privacy was only visual. All noise escaped.

I love hotel room mate Alicia. This was my second time staying there. Wonderful location, helpsul staff and great variety for dining options are to name just a few things that makes it wonderful place to stay in Madrid .

It was a small, very well-appointed hotel. It was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The area is very central to all the interesting sights in Madrid. Our stay was short but it was very enjoyable

The hotel is in a great, central location which is perfect for exploring the city by foot. Our room was a great size and had greener alternatives for soap and shampoo which I liked. It was the service, however, that really sets this property apart. I was traveling with my toddler and the second we set foot in the lobby Eva made us feel so welcome. She is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. All the staff was amazing but she goes above and beyond. We’ll definitely book here first our next trip to Madrid.

Very nice room with friendly & helpull staff members Perfect location for exploring all parts of city within 20min walk, Busy plaza with plenty of Restaurants on doorstep, downside is Room can be a little noisy later in evening, as restaurants close and rubbish collections are made.

Nice location. Stayed previously at Room Mate Alba around the corner. Alba is a much nicer hotel in my opinion. Breakfast options at Alicia are poor and boring and so I'd give it a 4/10 for this. Alba breakfast options are 9/10

our second time here, we love the location, the room, staff, and breakfast. very handy to walk to pretty much all the important sites. the room is very modern and clean with a small safe and refrigerator. tv has channels in many languages. man restaurants nearby.

Nice place, good location. Room was very tiny, so tiny I needed to roll on the bed to get to the fridge and closet. The hotel is very close to the Spanish Theater. Small, one way street leading to it is very clogged with traffic so if you’re taxiing to the hotel, prepare to be stuck.

I highly recommend the suite with the private plunge pool. It was the highlight of my experience!

The hospitality was the best I’ve ever experienced! The breakfast was extraordinary. And the location was perfect for accessing all parts of the city on foot.

The Hotel is beauty, in the center of Madrid. Close to anything. The people are friendly, the breakfast is great. I think the main feature is the cost-effectiveness ratio. Recommended.
