Great staff, great restaurant, great views and location

Air conditioner was noisy and furnishings were just average. Very little space around the bathroom sink.

Cumbres is beautifully located in Puerto Varas and has a superb view of Osorno. Service is great and the breakfast outstanding.

Fantastic hotel. I would come back in a minute if I were coming back to Puerto Varas. Views of lake and volcanos unparalleled. Service perfect. Pleasant friendly knowledgable staff. Best hotel breakfast I have EVER seen, Well located. Well situated. Two minor quibbles. This is an older hotel so it's understandable, but there are no plugs or USBs by the bed side tables. Also the door key mechanisms are VERY finicky and we got stuck out a couple times and had to go to the front desk to get another key.

In our way from Puerto Montt AirPort to our farm, we always stop in Puerto Varas to spend a night and this hotel is the best one so far

This was an unexpectedly amazing hotel. The architecture is older, as is the surroundings of Puerto Vargas, but the hotel was updated and extremely comfortable. Cozy beds, lovely room with a lake front view, really nice lounge area, welcoming spa where amenities were available such as sauna, and good gym. Best of all was the free breakfast - so many choices for all diets. They would also make specialized omelets upon request at no charge. Definitely recommend this hotel.

It’s a lakefront and central hotel, near good restaurants. Breakfast wasn’t extraordinary, very basic. Staff were helpful. The room was large, clean and a good size bathroom, but it lacked magnifying mirror, and the dispensers make it cheap.

All good as always. Very good hotel in all aspects, but specially the staff (very nice).

This property has been described as five stars but it’s three at best. The views from the hotel are amazing but the property is extremely dated and that Lowe’s the place to three stars. The furniture must be 20 years old in the room and technology has passed this place do plugs are not convenient. The breakfast is lackluster. The coffeee machines kept breaking down so there were always lines. The lounge with the fireplace is awesome but they don’t have enough waiters most evenings. The front desk was not helpful at all. When we asked to get local information about activities they told us to scan a QR code. Water pressure was very low under the premise of being eco friendly. The place is ok but don’t expect anything more than an average stay in a stunning location.

Lack of restaurants if you compare with the past experience, and also you need to pay if you want to access the casino and in the past was free for hotel passengers

Everything good, BUT it was a surprise to know in the property that I must pay VAT apart from what was paid to Expedia, even when Expedia said “all taxes included”. This was not fair

This is a great hotel in a great location with fabulous views!

I had a great time at Hotel Cumbres. My room had a nice view of the lake, and no sooner had I arrived then some sparkling wine and chocolates were brought to my room. On another day in my stay a couple of chocolates were left in my room. The hotel has a very comfortable sitting area with a big fire where I could read. I also went to the swimming pool and sauna. The breakfasts were brilliant and I also enjoyed a very nice lunch in the hotel restaurant. Reception also let me check in early. My room was spotlessly clean.

This is not a 5 or 4 star property but a good 3 star. The rooms are pretty old and need painting and new carpet. Needs new bathroom too. Very average experience. The views are excellent. Great service in bar area.

Spacious, clean, and comfortable room. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Beautiful views of the lake and volcanos and easy to walk to restaurants and shops.

Stayed for a night on a business trip. Recommendable. Only downside is that its not that close to city center, so expect to walk a bit or take cab when going out.
