Absolutely wonderful. Great location. Clean. Very helpful with questions. Frig stocked daily. Restaurant had some of the best German food we had while there. Excellent all the way around.

Check in was quick. The room was a good size and in good condition. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a walk in shower which was spacious and came with body wash. There was a little terrace with table and chairs which would probably be nice in the summer months. The complementary mini bar is a nice touch. There are no hot drink making facilities but I understand you can request a kettle from reception. The restaurant in the hotel was good with friendly staff and nice food. The hotel is well situated for exploring the city.

We enjoyed our stay in Munich. The hotel was clean and comfortable. However, the frosted glass bathroom was unusual and off-putting especially since the barn door did not close tightly. I always felt safe in the neighborhood and the restaurant served delicious meals.

Great location, as long as you don’t have a car. There is no parking. Parking is 3 to 4 blocks away and has limited access and time to park.

Super location, great rooms and welcoming staff. We were given a room vouchers for complimentary Prosecco and meat/cheese platter; and of course loved the free mini bar! Less than 5 mins to the market and less than 10 to Marienplatz. Just perfect.

Was easy to get from train station via Tram 17 about 10 min ride & we walked on day of departure which was about 25 min
Ideally located for main tourist area, mini bar & welcome drink was a nice extra very comfy bed & pillows

The hotel was satisfactory and clean. We didn’t know when we booked that this hotel caters to men who are interested in men. There is a men only spa house inside the hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Lovely hotel with interesting history. Located within easy walking distance of the Old Town. Tram stop two minutes away. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly. Great atmosphere. Roof terrace with views across the city.

The hotel has an excellent location close to historic district, easy access to transportation and a very good restaurant. The room was very clean and the complementary minibar was a success. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The only down side was the room had a very strong smell of wood polish or cleaning solution during our three night stay.

Please note that as of early September, the hotel does not honor a 15 Euro per night voucher as a VIP hotel, and instead replaces it with a complimentary Bavarian platter in its restaurant.

From the gentleman (tattooed arms) who greeted me, the complimentary prosecco, the complimentary mini bar, AC, nice shower, great big flatscreen TV w/ YouTube, super comfy bed, location and the windows that open fully for lots of fresh air when the AC is off. It was a great hotel. I highly recommend!

Great hotel. Stayed 2 nights. Single room and although had a single bed the room and shower room was spacious. Room itself was spotlessly clean and stylish. Hotel reception staff friendly and helpful. Just a short walk to Marienplatz, the main square. Hotel had a lovely roof terrace bar plus a restaurant and bar on ground floor. Felt safe at the hotel and the city.

Went on a 15 day European vacation and this was hands down the best hotel we stayed at. Ideal location, Super close to everything the room was clean. The guys at the front desk were so friendly and funny. Super helpful with recommendations and the restaurant has amazing food.

Amazing attention to detail in the room - more than the usual mainstream hotel room.
I went to look for a morning coffee in the hotel restaurant and the waiter told me to just help myself. Said if he could make me happy, he is happy. So sweet!
Hotel is very central, would definitely stay here again if I could.

In general, our stay in the hotel has been brilliant. The mini bar was great as it was refilled every day. The beds were comfy, the staff was friendly. The sink in the bathroom was surprisingly good. The balcony outside the room was unexpectedly clean and quaint. The room size was nice. However, it will be even better if frying pans and exhaustion fan was added in the bathroom and frying pans were included in the kitchen.

An amazing hotel situated in beautiful historic Munich. The roof top bar offers an amazing view of this enchanting city. Deutsche echt is a balanced mix of old world charm and modern comforts required by today's modern traveller.
