Carlisle inn is our go-to hotel in the Sarasota area! The hotel exudes peacefulness, they play soft music throughout the hallways but low enough to where you can't hear it inside your room. The employees are fantastic and the Continental breakfast has some of the best donuts and baked goods around!

This is a top notch Hotel. Very clean and friendly with very nice decor! We would definitely stay there again!

We enjoy our stay here very much. Very large suite with many helpful amenities. Only small complaint was very little hot water on one morning! Breakfasts were great, and beds were very comfortable.

Nice, clean hotel with very large rooms. Spacious bathroom, separate vanity. Very friendly staff. Free breakfast was fine. Afternoon cookies and all day coffee were added bonus. Good restaurant on the grounds.

Very friendly staff. Anna at front desk was very good and gave a great first impression that lasted for our stay. In a word.. Clean! We will definitely be returning to stay there again. Room was spacious as were the hallways. Quiet area of town but centrally located for us.

The hotel was immaculate. The staff were excellent, very friendly and courteous from check in to check out. The area around the hotel felt very safe, with an excellent restaurant, Der Dutchman, next door.
My wife and I would highly recommend a stay at the Carlisle. On this trip we stayed at seven hotels in two and a half weeks and both feel this was top of the list.

Hotel and rooms were tastefully decorated. Hotel was very quiet. Breakfast service was great as the nightly cookies. All the help was personable and very friendly.

This is a great hotel. The people at the front desk are very warm and welcoming. And there were cookies in the dining area every night. Our room was beautiful,spacious, very clean, very comfortable. There is a restaurant just on the other side of the parking lot so it’s very convenient. The food is great. We were there at the hotel last week and we are going back to the hotel at the end of this week

The people checking in were amazing very helpful . Very accomadating got me a chair for shower. She also helped me up to room
Because the key pads were down . She than brought my key up once the machine was fixed . I was there for hurricane evacuation . It is a very homey place . Great food also .

This is a great hotel … from checkin to checkout. A very Friendly & helpful staff. We’ve been here 4 times and hope to come back again.

The reviews don’t lie - 10 out of 10! Huge rooms, spacious hallways, gorgeous furniture and lobby - love love love. Peaceful, great pool, and buffet/bakery onsite. Best hotel of our Florida adventure trip.
FYI - this is operated by an Amish group. They play soft Christian music in the public areas and have Christian books for sale. We LOVED it and felt right at home, but in our wonderfully free country if this would make you uncomfortable, be prepared.

I do travel a lot for business, both domestic and international trips. No matter where I go, this hotel and their hospitality is unbeatable! I just love it - what a peaceful and high quality place. I have been there at least 4 times in the last 2 years, and I am planning to be back as soon as I need to be in the area again!

This hotel is within 2 hours of our homes, and it our favorite -- actually our only -- go-to for a Girls Trip. We favor it over any other place because of the friendliness and kindness of the desk staff, and any other hotel staffer you might run into, the safe and secure atmosphere, the quiet rooms even if next to the elevator, the spacious rooms complete with a table and chairs for playing games, the shower -- I could go on. They are very accommodating. Always.

My God the room was a suite with full kitchen. Totally unexpected. Craftsmanship and detail in the construction was top shelf down to the caulking. I am a retired Carpenter Supervisor. Everything was wonderful. Amazing! Highly recommend.

From the moment you arrive at the hotel you feel that everything is going to be fine. The people at the front desk are wonderful. The rooms are spotless, clean, spacious and well equipped. Free parking is available around the building. A varied continental breakfast is included in the price. This hotel has earned its reputation for excellence. I recommend it for a family stay. I will return again.

We have stayed at this hotel 2 times and have enjoyed are stay both times. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is spotless. We enjoyed the breakfast also. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to go somewhere for a peaceful get away.
