Service was seriously lacking! Villa was not prepped with utensils, plates, mugs etc for 6 guests. Took 2-3 hours to get food orders. Waited 1.5 hours for jerk chicken on the beach. Location of villa was convenient, beach was nice. No pool table as in images. It was off season, and very clear the B crew was on duty.

Jewel Grande Montego Bay is not an All Inclusive, at the steak restaurant we had to pay for the Lobster tail. The food choice was very limited. The other Hotels that i have been to everything that you eat is Free.

Loved this property. Environment, Atmosphere, Staff, Service convenience It was all very nice. The food was plentiful and diverse but was somewhat salty… That should be adjusted.

I was a little disappointed with the service. I was annoyed with the construction being conducted, I didn’t receive house keeping services for almost 2 days until I went to the front desk… when I called to inquire why I didn’t receive house keeping the day before I was told I had to request it, which was nonsense Overall I expected much more from JEWEL GRANDE and I highly doubt I would recommend it.

So I have to be honest and let you all know. This resort is not in the best condition. I understand we are in Jamaica but this was supposed to be a 4.5 star resort. I would give this resort 2 stars at best. When I called for room service to have food delivered, the food was cold and terrible. You have to beg to have your room restocked with beverages and towels daily. The security that did the night shift were rude and unprofessional. If you go to dinner after 7:30 expect a 30-40 min wait and most of the restaurants you need reservation for, so don’t bother. The food for dinner was really good however once you are finally seated, you have to constantly ask for your drink to be refilled during all meals. They did not have many signs to show you where everything is so your guessing most of the time your there. Lastly I walked pretty much everywhere while I was there but when it was time to leave (thank goodness) I had to call downstairs three times to beg for someone to help me with my luggage. When I finally got all my luggage down the elevator by myself because no one showed up, I had to wait another 15 minutes for the shuttle to arrive. He apologized that he was late stating that he had to make a personal run. Never mind the fact they my transportation was waiting for me already and threatening to leave and I had a flight to catch. I couldn’t wait to leave and get Home. My advice….choose another resort. This one was terrible.

The property is located so close to the airport and other great attractions.

I took my wife here to celebrate her birthday and she LOVED this resort! The staff was super friendly. Rooms were perfect (we did wish there was a full length mirror in there). Food options were spot on. The beach and activities on the resort kept our stay very entertained. We will be most definitely coming back to this resort in the future.

It was nice

This is absolutely my best experience at a resort. The Staff overall were amazing and wonderful people. Gary the bartender in the main lobby is hilarious and definitely worth visiting. Our housekeeper Lacie-Ann was a very sweet and wonderful lady that went above and beyond, and one of the activities people not sure how to spell her name "Eminem" maybe was very fun and friendly. The food was overall really good also. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

What a great experience. Private beach, beautiful area, safe, food was really good, great choices, great entertainment at night, clean and beautiful rooms (ours was an ocean view. Highly recommended nothing beats a morning coffee with the sunrise). Gym was great, spa beautiful. Also great coffee. Staff was very professional, attentive, helpful and so nice. We had an amazing experience!

I love everything about Jewel Grande! Impeccable service from all the staff, I felt like royalty! From the front desk staff (Opal), to the spa ataff (Jessica, Natasha, and Marseen), to the beach staff (Demar and Winfred), to the wait staff, the cart drivers, they were absolutely amazing! I will definitely visit again!

Absolutely amazing staff and service. Makes you feel like a VIP, each employee. Great food and swimming options. Beautiful scenery. Pricey spa treatments but high quality, highly recommend. Activities for adults and kids.

Our family had a wonderful time at Jewel Grand MBJ. Our butlers Hermique, Lennox and Neo provided top quality service and saw to our every need. Would definitely recommend this property to any prospective traveler.

The staff is friendly and hospitable. I felt safe. The food was very good along with the live entertainment.

Only complaint that there was an issue with an AC day one but other than that it was an amazing experience

First, I was made to wait more than an hour and a 1/2 beyond check-in time for my room. I had to get a supervisor to resolve this issue. After some resistance, the supervisor agreed to allow me an extra hour and a 1/2 to check out on my final day. The room was pleasant with a nice view; however, I was dismayed to learn that there was no microwave oven available. Moreover, I noticed condensation from the AC causing a constant drip of water from the ceiling which was clearly damaged from this problem. Hence, I had to always step over the puddle to avoid slipping on the water on the floor. Finally, the TV in the room did not work for most of my stay at the hotel.

From the moment we arrived it was very clear we would enjoy our stay, the resort was classy and the service was excellent.

Needs some updates, broken tiles in the bathroom and lobby areas, Can do better job with cleaning hallways and elevators

The view from our suite was phenomenal! We had the all inclusive package . K Dot front the swim up pool was amazing!! I don’t his real name but it starts with a K. It was actually two of the guys who were really nice there. The Asian restaurant and breakfast buffet were really good, you have to try the Rum and Raisin ice cream trust me! The bathroom sink didn’t have a working cold water lever and the shower lever worked but the covering fell off. Otherwise it was a great stay with water sports included shout out to Jean Claude he was very informative on our sailing tour!
