The staff were fantastic. Friendly, accommodating, and professional. Nothing too much trouble. Location was great for me, I needed a bit of isolation but with access to facilities, of which there are many. Many eateries in the area too, not to mention the supermarkets and fast food nearby.

I could never remember the access code for the stairs at the back! Not a big deal, just me having a head full of other things. That's my fault! Write it down if you're as daft as me.

Nicely equipped rooms, very clean and comfortable in a convenient location for Stocksbridge. We had a superior room and it was very spacious. If we were in the area I'd definitely stay again.

Live music on a Saturday night was loud even up on the furthest away bedroom, not ideal for a 1 year old, mind you the band did sound good!

Me and my partner stayed for one night and definitely will return. Everything from start to finish was brilliant, room and staff was brilliant and locals was welcoming couldn’t fault a thing.

Spotlessly clean and obviously recently renovated rooms. The bed was very comfy. Ideal location for an event I was attending at the retail park around the corner.

Room was very nice. Very modern and clean. Staff in the pub were friendly. They don’t serve food at the pub but there’s a big shopping centre a few mins walk away that has restaurants, plus a couple of takeaways.

Live music from 9pm til gone 11 which was very noticeable in the room. It was a Saturday. I think they could have warned us when we called to book. Also the big steelworks at the back of the inn seem to work 24/7 so there is a hum from there. At 10pm until noon we were told the door from pub to rooms is locked which means entry to and from the rooms is via a steel staircase of three flights on the outside rear of the building. A bit like a wide fire escape. It was safe and had handrails either side but my dog was scared of the open steps so he had to be coaxed up them. Bear this in mind if you have limited mobility as you will need to exit using these stairs, carrying your luggage in the morning.

Beautiful rooms, exceptionally clean. The put was really welcoming too.

Brilliant bedroom, very clean, spacious and quiet even though rooms are above a busy pub. Would definitely visit again.

Easy instructions to follow given via email. No hassle. Key was ready in a key safe for when we arrived. Room was clean and modern. Bed was comfortable.
