Lovely clean cottage and an ideal overnight stay for our little family. The twin beds in the second bedroom were quite low so it was perfect for our toddler to sleep in without a bed guard. The main bedroom was also a good size to fit in a travel cot for a baby too. The welcome basket of snacks and milk in the fridge was also a lovely touch.
It was quite cold when we arrived as the heating was set to 16 and the radiators upstairs were turned off (as you'd expect in a holiday home that isn't always used), but the heating was easy to turn on and the fire in the living room made that nice and warm until the rest of the house heated up.

The property was much bigger than we excepted, was clean, well stocked and lovely location. The little touches made all the difference with the welcome basket and milk in fridge. After a long drive from Scotland with lots of road delays arriving to a cuppa tea was amazing. We had a lovely stay which it could have been longer.

Lovely cottage! Big and spacious, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, the biggest bath I’ve ever seen!
Not really a complaint, more of an even better if, would be a bigger table in the dining room and telly in the living room. Both were quite small in comparison to the rooms. They work well as is but we’re the only things I could think could make it better!

Clean, Huge, well appointed, very Comfy beds & bedding, fluffy towels, most excellent shower, lovely touches, thank you for the accompaniments, close to the Jenny Wren Pub, Alan the landlord was the perfect host & food/beer was Great.

Beautiful old cottage, very spacious and clean throughout! The location is perfectly situated near a nice stretch of river in a peaceful small village, friendly locals. Plenty of safe parking right outside. The property owner is very helpful through the messaging service and kind/thoughtful, we really enjoyed our stay.. excellent central Yorkshire location if you have a few places to visit! Leeds/York both approximately 30 minutes from the cottage and supermarkets, fuel stations ect with in a 5 minute drive.
