The hostess was a little rude at the beginning, but she was really nice ein general.

As a person who have used this type of stays for decades. This is by far the worst booking experience I had ever. It started with a very unpleasant communication. Shortly after booking this place, I need to change due to bad timing, that’s more than a month ago and yet the owner refused refund. I thought it’s just one night so decided not to change but just stay here. However the real surprise hit me bad when I arrived Toronto the day, I picked up rental car and reached out to the owner guess what, she said no I cannot stay as someone else already stayed here!!! I was so shocked as I am fully charged long time ago and my booking showed all confirmed and ready to go! It turns out the owner markets this place in multiple platforms and booking.com is one of that! As an owner if you do that, you would need to keep a perfect bookkeeping to prevent such double booking from happening!!! Instead of fixing the problem, the owner just blanks about she has no fault and this has never happened before but offered no solution. I asked her to call the platform and get back to me but I never received a single or message or email back from her! I had to turn to the platform customer support to follow up. Imagine how hard it is to try to find alternative right in the day in your travel!! Shame on the owner and try your best to avoid!
