Location being close to my friend's place. Staff were friendly.

Food: wasn't good quality. Children struggled to find something to eat each time AND they usually eat everything. The bed settee had a slat missing and was so uncomfortable that I didn't sleep at all the 1st night. Ended up swapping with my child and slept on a single bed which was passable. Was annoyed to find I was staying 2 doors down from where I stayed 3 years previous when I rented an apartment from Euro Apartments for over £500 less! I could have done the same and spent the rest on eating out. Swimming pool isn't heated so freezing cold even in 28 - 29 heat. Check-in is from 15:00 (after dinner service has finished) and check-out is 11:00 (before dinner service has started). Arrived after 15:00 & went to thr pool bar because kids were hungry. Being all-inclusive I stupidly thought that meant all-inclusive only to find my child being asked to pay for a packet of Crisps. She had to go and ask what WAS included and returned with a cheese & pepperoni bread roll in cling film. I'm still not sure what snacks were included!

Location is great, near old harbour which is the best place in Puerto del Carmen. Rooms were OK, a bit old but clean and good enough. Pool is nice. Buffet is also OK. And staff at the hotel were very nice, friendly and helpful.

Two things were not good at all and which are very basic and should not happen these days. On one hand, there is not enough hot water in the shower, especially in the evening (6-8pm). Hotel response was that at that time most of the people are showering at the same time (which is normal as it is when everybody comes back from the beach or sighseeing), so hot water cannot reach all rooms properly. I think this is not acceptable and should be easily fixed with some investment in the hot water equipment, not a problem I guess for a hotel which charges 100+ EUR per room per night. On the other hand, the wifi is really bad and slow and this is another basic thing which should be easily solved and available in 2023... Difficult to connect to the wifi and when it does, is very slow and only enough to use Whatsapp and similar apps. Forget about emails and any other stuff which requires a decent wifi connection. Again, something basic and easy to solve with some investment, and not acceptable at all these days.

The new years reception for dinner was really nice and unexpected The private patio was really nice The resort was really calm and had a nice vibe to it.

Was 2 single beds when was stated double Was supposed to be a seaview room instead was a ground floor The safe didn't open Wasn't very secure had someone try come in to the apartment and so did a few others that's why a few glasses may be found on the patio door handles!!! Wasn't very modern the couch was a park bench pretty much Wasn't any satellite tv just Spanish channels and BBC 1 and 4 5 n 2 radio stations Was no proper bedding? The bath tub was absolute tiny like I don't think I could bath my kid init It took far too long for the hot water to heat up

Just a hotel from horror movie.. Everything is old and dated, no kitchen equipment, impossible to have a shower water changes consistently from ice cold to hot, breakfast- I have never ate something terrible like their breakfast. There are so many more things, the cherry on the cake last day was cockroaches.. Do not recommend..

lots of space, super clean, breakfast and lunch meals are good , rooms are a great size the staff very sweet.

The dinner is awful I don’t understand why but it is almost impossible to make a meal out of what they supply in the evening! makes no sense as lunch is really nice . the beds are old and ribbed! no kettle no AC but fine in the winter time we had a late flight so used the showers, just note timer switch is very short, in the shower in the dark not great for everyone. a little walk up the hill,

Overall, we (two 25 year olds/couple) had an amazing all inclusive weeks stay here at the start of June. Everything from the room, the staff, the beds to the location was great. As the title of this review says, in my view, do not listen to the bad reviews - if people want 5* food, service etc…. They should really stay at a 5* hotel! After finally booking this back in April, I was a little nervous about the bad reviews but I tried to believe the good ones. Because of the bad reviews we tried to go in with really low expectations and honestly my expectations were blown away! Staff - when we arrived we were met by Jesus behind reception; we were greeted with welcoming smiles and kindness. We had to sign in and give a copy of our passports. We were then told the times to come for breakfast, lunch and dinner (different set times are given to different guests). The receptionist then gave us our all inclusive bands and key to apartment. We did have to go back as the wifi wasn’t letting us log on but this was sorted straight away. The staff at food times were also great, special shout-out to the waiter Daniel (glasses and hair up) he was so so so smiley all the time and always asking how you were etc! So lovely. Apartment/Room - A lot of people said the apartments were dated and maybe they were but this had no effect on us what so ever. Like other people said, you don’t go on holiday to stare at the wallpaper and decoration (well I don’t anyway haha). The beds and pillows for me were fine (I am soooo picky and struggle to sleep and it was all good for me)! There was loads of storage in bedroom and a nice big mirror. There was also a couch that turned into a sofa bed which we pulled out, it was nice to come into and just fall into! There were some English channels on the tv which was also a plus! There was also a fridge, cutlery, pans, plates and hobs.

clean and perfect for a relaxing holiday

We liked the location 10 minute walk to mall and playa chica -Halal food! We were not expecting any halal food but the chefs especially Abdul was absolutely brilliant. They accommodated for us during lunch and dinner and had halal food cooked up for us within 10 minutes- definitely the highlight. - Pool on the other side of the road where we stayed so didn't have to walk to the main pool

-limited options of food. One type of pasta, rice, meat, dessert etc. - Same breakfast each morning - Outdated apartments - No other snacks offered only main meals -No entertainment
