the staff were great, but the room is flawed. i stayed in a premium executive room 1412 . I have stayed before, but this room had some issues. It's a big room, but has annoying problems (for the price). The water is generally highly erratic.... the basin is alwaysn cold... The shower is quite cold at certain times of the day, then really hot at other times of the day. The stupid "pretty but useless " shower tap, fell apart, but is quite erratic in its use, and doesn't seem to do much... not change cold water to hot, nor hot water to cold. Even when standing under it, the temperatuyr changes by 5 degrees for 5 seconds, then suddenly returns. Quite spontaneous and without warning. It's weird and annoying. Close to dangerous when it suddenly gets hot... The bed in this room is like a concrete slab... OK for China, but noone else. Silly pillows where one is too little but two is too much. The aircond is also highly erratic. hot/cold... and the controls are weird and non-intuitive. This was enough to make me pick the Oasia next week when I return and in the future. Their club rooms are same price and WAY bettter.

They are still renovating so the lobby looks amazing. But the room was very old and outdated. Staff was friendly. But some of them are more eager to work then others (some of them are greeting you in the lobby or opening the door for you, others ignore you or are calling privately). Compliments for the young men who cleans the room. I think he is a very proactive and kind, How he leaves the room. Close by metro, hotspots and food places. Only real down point is only sun at the pool between 12 and 4 pm.
