Overall the stay was okay. The only thing we had an issue with was that the hallways and stairwell had a strong smell of marijuana. Even in our room we could smell it.

My stay was fine. Everything was clean, no issues with check in or the room. But there were a couple of off-putting things about this hotel. First, the loud and aggressively religious Jesus music playing throughout the lobby and outdoors. At check in I thought maybe the desk staff was just playing their favorite jams, but sure enough there it was again the next morning. And not anything subtle, it was the "I want Jesus inside me" kinda thing. The other issue was the dozens of signs posted throughout the lobby, breakfast area, and lounging area - all with lots of instructions/demands about where you can and can't eat, what you can and can't do, and very specifically about how much breakfast you are allowed. It's not that I even wanted to eat a lot, i just didn't want aggressive signage treating me like a child and telling me how many pancakes I'm allowed to have. It felt like spending the night at a friend's house as a kid without knowing their family was weirdly religious and strict, but expected you to follow their rules if you wanted to spend the night. I was here for work so maybe I just don't know how things are in the Dells. But I guess I'll just need to keep making up excuses whenever this AmericInn asks me to have a sleepover.

It was a nice room it smelled bad and the description said we were getting a room with a balcony and fireplace with a jetted tub, but we didn’t get the balcony which was the whole reason I booked the room. They don’t do anything or offer anything for special occasions and the food was not good at all.

Very pleasant stay. Clean and comfortable.

Very easy to get a reservation on line. Very nice staff. Very clean. Breakfast was good the following morning

Over all it was a VERY GOOD hotel. Best part was it was dog friendly. Majority of the hotel staff members were super nice and accommodating. The only people I could say were super rude was the housekeepers. I attempted to opt for late checkout and even put it into the system but the housekeepers informed me they weren’t going to allow me to check out late because they didn’t want to work late. Like what was the purpose of offering this option if you aren’t going to actually allow it.

After calling the hotel confirming that it’s okay to book through a third party (Expedia) the receptionist tells me that’s perfectly fine he said once I book to give them a call to confirm they received our booking information and we called he said yes we are good to go. When I arrive to the hotel the worker now is saying we needed to pay a $150 fee because it was through a third party. Ended having to call the manager about 2-3 times to fix this issue. When arrived to our room there was a roach on the bed frame.

I did not like that there were no do not disturb signs for the doors because of that house keeping came knocking on the door an hour prior to check out and we were still sleeping in bed. They were extremely respectable but that’s besides the point.

Overall great experience, inexpensive option compared to other hotels with park included. Loved the passes to the waterpark included. Clean hotel rooms, friendly staff. Bring your own pillows, the ones they have are tiny and not good. Breakfast is a little chaotic with limited seating. I would choose this option again.

The property was recently renovated and it appeared fresh, clean, and updated. We had a very pleasant stay.

It was quiet and convenient for us to go around the town.
