It was a beautiful, quiet hotel. Great views of the Lake and next to the Ferry to explore the surrounding areas. Walkable to the small center city area and not too crowded.

The hotel is a little 'older' in style, but very nice. It's not in the tourist area but it is right next to the ferry area. If you are traveling using pulic transportation, taking the train to Varenna and then Ferry across to the hotel is easy. Better than taking the bus from Como S. Giovanni. Although the bus stop is directly in front of the hotel. Menaggio side of the lake you will see the sunrise. Varenna side sees the sunset. Bellagio sees both but is larger and full of tourist. The Grand Hotel Menaggio allows you to be close to tourist areas, but be away from them enough that it's quiet and peaceful. Would stay here again.

Beautiful location, beautiful property. A bit pricy though

My wife and I and our 9 month old baby stayed here and the staff were excellent. They were friendly, only too willing to help/offer advice and made a real fuss of our baby! We had a beautiful view from our view and the location was excellent being close to both the ferries and centre of menaggio. We are already planning our next trip!

My daughter and I stayed here and your first greeted with the view thru the lobby! They were so accommodating as our room wasn't ready(arrived to early). They stored our luggage and offered us beach towels to enjoy the pool. They offer a great breakfast, the afternoon, the bar offers a great lunch and a nice supper at the restaurant. Location was awesome, right beside ferry to other towns. Walkable to lots of other restaurants and shops. Banks and pharmacy near by. Will definitely be staying again!

Hotel with Charme of an old Granhotel with proper a/c rooms, very nice Pool, right at the Lake, quiet. Very good breakfast. The place to relax totally!

The location is incredible. Beautiful views. Tasty food. Near the ferries to hop to other communities on Lake Como.

Beautiful hotel. Could not say anything but good things about our stay here. The staff was excellent and very friendly. Breakfast was good and recommend adding that to your stay! Cannot wait to use this hotel in the future.

Excellent location. Beautiful views. Could use a little updating on decor but its very 80's Italia so enjoy the blast from the past. Excellent value for the money.

Nice property, but not easy to walk around. A water taxi was easy to catch close by however. Staff was very nice.

The hotel has delightful views of the lake and it’s a two-minute walk to the ferry. The pool area and breakfast were spectacular. Mattresses were too firm for my liking.

Very noisy room. Shower was rubbish. Pool area very nice. Food was very good.
