The room is small, but that's not the real problem. The furniture in the room are clumsy, i.e., not the right types for the limited space, and poorly positioned making the room rather cluttered. For a hotel of this class, it's odd that there is only one elevator.

An excellent hotel in every way. Bountyful breakfast buffet. Within walking distance of the Prado and other top museums. Just a block from one of the best tapas location in Madrid.

The hotel is in an excellent location to visit the museums, botanical gardens, restaurants and shopping. Easily walkable to the La Latina area. Service and staff excellent.

We loved this hotel! The location was excellent, right across from the Prado Museum. The staff were very friendly, room was very nice, roof top gym was incredible, and breakfast buffet was amazing. We had a wonderful stay here.

This property is uniquely located directly across the street from the Prado museum. Laura and her staff of customer service people are most helpful with all concierge tasks.

The bar area served tea and dessert as well as drinks, in a pretty drawing room. Breakfast was delicious. We were across the street from the Prado, which made our visit to the museum so easy. The neighborhood is beautiful!

I booked this hotel bc of its location which was perfect for the three museums we wanted to visit. The room was very small and on the street so there's traffic noise. As senior travelers, the room and bathroom are hard to get around due to size and where amenities are positioned: the mini fridge is low to the ground and knees didn't like this. There was ample room in the closet so wondered why the fridge wasn't there. The coffee maker is in an awkward place, making it hard to pour the water in. The bathroom is small with limited counter space. We went to the rooftop to discover there was just a gym up there-wondered why there was no bar or restaurant with the incredible views there. The staff was not overly friendly but did speak English, as most places did.
