Fantastic hotel and location, so sorry i only could stay 1 night.

Located near the financial district of Shanghai, this hotel is approx. 10 min walk from the nearest metro and steps away from Huangpu River park where you can take a leisurely stroll. Both gym and pool area show major signs of wear n tear. Quality of breakfast is poor if not one of the worst both for its western and Chinese selections. The whole decor smells 1980s vibe which needs some major update.

Very beautiful hotel, conveniently located. We had a room with the river view and that was spectacular. Breakfast was served in a nice place and they had a large variety of foods to offer. I definitely recommend this hotel.

I have been staying in this property for 10 years on every visit to Shanghai. By far the best service

Would have loved a room with Pearl tower river that we didn't get :( We had a river view room though. Breakfast spread was very nice. Room service was fast.

This hotel is absolutely amazing and is one of the best in Shanghai. I stayed here for the first time in May and had several nights now in August. I recommend this hotel to anyone going to Shanghai on holiday or on business,

Staff were great and couldn't help you enough, room was spacious and comfortable, and hotel was in close proximity to anything or anywhere I needed to go. Only annoying thing was that there was only 2 of 50 channels that catered for English speaking countries.

Overall this hotel which the only hotel I always stay when visiting Shanghai is excellent except my last visit on the 04th of August. I put my AirPods on the side table and when the female cleaner finished cleaning up, it wasn’t there anymore and the hotel insisted the cleaner didn’t take it. I checked my Find My Device and the location is somewhere unknown to me on that certain street. My fault should not have left valuable item like this.

I really like the hotel. It's very clean and has a classy atmosphere. The Pearl Tower is just a 5-minute walk away, and the Shanghai Aquarium is only 2 minutes away. The staff are extremely helpful and polite.

Random lady stand at lift lobby at 1.30am asking me want service. When i report to front desk, they dont seem to be apologetic. Stayed 2 night, first night my room air con not working, sweating whole night while sleeping. Report the next day and the technician confirmed air con malfunction and change my room, again not apologetic at all for causing inconveniences to me.

First impression of this hotel: Failed.
The check in staff is absolutely not friendly not all. You won’t feel like you are welcome at all. The security staff is much friendlier.
The room is quite old looking. They need to renovate the hotel.
Location: Around 10 plus mins to the train station.
There’s not much food option available here.
