This was a wonderful hotel. Great staff and service. Unfortunately we had animal view rooms, but the koala never moved by the windows of either of our rooms. One suggestion would be more food options for kids on the menu.

Check in was quick and efficient. We arrived at 12.00 and was pleasantly surprised that our room was ready. The room was comfortable and clean. Access into the Zoo was via your room key and the retreat had its own entry so you could come and go as you pleased. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend a stay.

It is a resort hotel near the city in Mosman. The service and environment are much better and comfortable than the 5 stars hotel in the inner city. We book an ordinary room since We could not book the animal room online. We are so lucky we can upgrade to the animal room without cost. There are 2 koralas we can see from our room. The young one is very active in the morning and walk between 3 trees to search the fresh leaves for breakfast. It is the first I see korala walks and I never forget this moment. The large lounge is semi-circle, and we can see the harbour bridge and opera house. We are so relaxing and comfortable by sitting both inside and outside. We spend most of time there （dust and after fine dinner） at the first day of arrival. The view is stunning, and birds are flying just in front of you. The Zoo is well maintained, and we have 2-day pass which is connect with the resort hotel. We can go in and out by many times through a special entrance. I and my young adult daughter enjoy the day very much. There is something need to be aware if you have big bags or immobility. All the lifts are not working, form the Taronga wharf up to the main hotel entrance. I can see people carry the baby chairs struggle with the steps and deep slope. Taking ferry from circular quay is extremely convenient. 2 ferries per hour and it takes about 25mins ride.

Very convenient location to the zoo and we feel special too because they recognize the lanyards given by the hotel. The sanctuary tour was a treat and the breakfast with a view was heaven on earth. Wonderful time at Wildlife Retreat. Our second stay and we'll be back. If you are thinking of going my advice is book it! You will not be disappointed.

Views from the lounge are the best in Sydney. Decor is really modern for rooms and common areas. Staff really friendly and the guided walks through the zoo are exceptional.

This property is one of the most beautiful I have ever stayed at. Listening to the animals at night really completed the experience. And seeing kangaroos from our window was spectacular. The food was great and the Zoo was amazing.

We had an amazing stay! This was the highlight of our trip to Australia! We decided on the animal view room and to be honest I wasn't expecting that we may not see any animals from our room during our stay. Well we had a koala right outside our room during the entire stay! The entire staff from the bartender, front desk staff and the zoo tour guides were amazing! The lounge has a spectacular view of the Sydney Harbour and it is especially at sunset. We had a tour of the zoo before it opened to the public and the tour guides were so friendly and informative. You can tell how much the animals and conservation means to them.

This really was a retreat and a unique experience! Every morning, we were greeted by a koala in the tree outside our window, and we enjoyed watching the echidnas beside the patio every day. Access to the zoo was easy and convenient, and the staff and private tours of the property were fantastic.
