Great anniversary trip and great choice of hotel selection

Unfortunately, we only stayed one night for our daughter’s birthday. We arrived on 11/24 and checked out 11/25. The architecture of the building was definitely to our liking since we all love modern contemporary design! Upon arrival, valet was so accommodating and the check in process was seamless! The interiors were just as beautiful as the exterior!! The front desk was so very kind and accommodating!! Our daughter was literally moved to tears as she entered her corner room with a free standing soaking tub!! The rooms were literally like sleeping in cloud! So very ZEN!! Soothing color palette, tactile furnishings and calming energy!! We will definitely be back!!! May I also add that the upstairs bar, patio and hot coco bar were exceptionally appointed in regards to the staff, decor and energy!!! We eagerly await our next visit!!!

Stayed in room 717 initially, room
had a beeping noise that kept me awake most of the night and the toilet smelled like a sewer. Moved rooms for second, it was much better.

Everything was great except for cleanliness/venting of the bathroom. Bathroom had a slight mildew smell. The steam escapes up into the recessed lighting which is then open to the ceiling interior. Here I witnessed what I described as black mold growing mostly within the drywall. I imagine this is throughout most bathrooms.

Our room was not ready at check in. It took over an hour for our room to be ready and then it was not the correct room. We were only able to get the correct room after showing them our receipt. I feel like because we weren’t the typical customer there, there was no rush or emergency with us.

Our waitress at the restaurant was horribly slow, rude and overall just a bad waitress. We finished eating and she never cleared our plates. She rarely checked on us and when she did was pretty blah. They charged $16 for a glass of wine and barely poured any. My friend asked if she could get a little more and the waitress splashed a few more drops in her glass
Then our room was hot. Air conditioning was set to 64 but it never got below 70.

Incredible stay! So many surprises- digital control of everything, turn down service, great concierge and bellman, car service, outstanding restaurant. The rooms are so well done- coffer bar, linens, outlets, robe, clothes steamer. I stay in a lot of hotels- major brands- but this one goes to my top for the value/amenities ratio list. Well done, staff and ownership.
