Breakfast seemed to be a challenge each day. Either there wasn’t coffee or the creamer had run out. I watched one morning as the staff member handling the food watched people serving themselves while the coffee station was ignored. Most people want coffee at breakfast, and it amazed me how challenging that was.

The hotel is in the middle of a bad area first off. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The staff wasn’t bad except for one guy working there was rude. They were also bringing in homeless people and putting them up in rooms. I have nothing against the homeless but they need to be taken to a shelter not to a hotel that you are staying with your kids and family.

Staff at desk were not knowledgeable for people coming into town about choices for dinner. A lot of people here for concert in area looking for dinner options. The gentlemen behind the desk acted as if he hadn’t slept in days and was being put out of you asked him for anything. Property nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Hotel on an area with nothing around.

LOVED the shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion (ordered it online for home). There was a $50 incidental hold but it was returned the next day. They have a good selection of drinks, snacks, and toiletries to purchase. The breakfast was good. I liked that they constantly had the pancake machine going so you weren’t waiting in line forever for pancakes. Parking was free and the lot seemed secure. Overall, it was great and I will def stay there again. I visit Cleveland at least once a year and am glad I found this place for a better price and don’t have to pay $30/night for parking.

The hotel overall was good but the room could use a good deep cleaning. Sheets smelled odd, the air conditioner was disgusting. The bathroom needed additional cleaning. I did however appreciate the 24/7 guard in the parking lot and the friendly staff. Breakfast had great options.

My stay was wonderful! I do have concerns over parking lot security as there was a car break in. Granted, we were in midtown Cleveland but I have no way of knowing how often this occurs. Hopefully it’s a rarity.

Friendly service and personnel. Rooms are not very clean. Pillows, comforters and mattresses need to be replaced, unpleasant smell, dirty and stained.

The water pressure in the bathroom sink and the shower was terrible. You only get one towel per person. The built-in shower shampoo bottle was gone. The pillowcases were all wrinkled like they had not been changed. The refrigerator was small without a freezer and no control over how cold you could make your food. No microwave in the room. You would think it would have been a better room for the money you have to pay for just one night. FYI this room was on the third floor.

The hotel was very convenient to the Agora Theater which is why I selected it. The room was clean and comfortable. The one negative is that it wasn’t really within walking distance of anything else and the staff wasn’t helpful in suggesting a decent restaurant or much of anything else nearby for that matter. All said, it was generally a nice hotel although maybe a bit overpriced.

This is my 3rd stay in a Tru by Hilton, the other 2 times was at the location in Charlotte, NC area.
It meets my criteria for a good hotel: It's clean, the room is quiet, It's got good water pressure in the shower and lots of hot water, the bed is comfortable and the room thermostat works, hot coffee in the morning, and lastly the employees are friendly and helpful.
The only negative this time is they forgot to fill the shampoo container in the room.

Easy to reach from the highway. Conveniently located. Pet friendly. (Although be aware that yhere is a non-refundable pet fee. $50 for my 32 lb dog.)

The hotel was great- the area is sketchy. 14 car break ins with a lot of damage the first night. Mine was not broken into. I brought my valuables in. second night they had security. You really couldn't walk anywhere because of the area. I am sure this will improve and the hotel is great- free parking very convenient but not secure
