C’est un travelodge donc on sait à quoi s’attendre. Chambre impersonnelle mais spacieuse.

Location

The location is great, close to the falls, secret garden, and core activities, yet quiet. Really enjoyed the bright and spacious pool/sauna area. Parking is reasonable and we were able to park there until 3 PM after checkout at 11:00. The room fridge was super quiet. VERY comfy bed. The spa tub in room was nice to relax in. Loved the Queen Ann style furnishing here. Others are too modern and stale. Very clean room and bathroom. No smells, perfume, cleaners.

An included breakfast would be nice. Furniture was getting worn, needs refinishing! Some TLC on the wall paper seams would work.

decor, very tired, and lights in bathroom scorching ceiling, weird second washbasin in the bedroom, wallpaper in bathroom and bedroom peeling off, crazy carpet! Shower over bath difficult to operate and ‘soft’ underfoot.

No complimentary water bottle. Rooms look old, not clean I booked through booking.com and the lady at the reception was so difficult to deal.

The staff were very nice helpful. Had to wait till 3 to get in and had asked thestaff if I couldpur my good in a fridge shut didnt go bad and they did it without hesitation

Walked out to someone perfusely bleeding and window shattered kind of felt a little unsafe

What we did like was probably what most people wouldn't like. It was so dated and old school retro that we found it endearing.

Heart-shaped jacuzzi tub was almost unusable. once there was a few inches of water in it it spilled over onto the floor. And the old style Jets that aren't Jets but air holes mean that it is freezing cold air that comes up through the pinholes that cause the bubbles . That being said also when we turn the tub on scum immediately came out of the tub . Sitting in there you just felt like you were being beat up and it was not enjoyable at all . There was absolutely no shelf in the bathroom to put even a hairbrush or toothbrush down. You should not have to put your toothbrush on the back of a toilet. The patio door was Dripping with water and mold and the room itself was quite moldy. I ended up with a rash from the public hot tub in the pool area which was barely warm and not clean also the sauna was barely warm and the pool was freezing to the point of not being able to swim. If you want to do enjoy the sound of the falls by leaving your patio door cracked open a little bit you couldn't because these blaring lights come on all of the balconies and stay on all night.

The hotel was a hard 6.5 but Sue, the sweetest lady at the breakfast made it by far sooo much better. Our room was a suite and had 3 queen beds and was basically a 2 bedroom. Upon entering we realized the second bedroom had a humming vibration. We called front desk and they immediately fixed it (it was the boiler room next to us). The breakfast buffet was fabulous for 14.99. The pool was ok. Location was pretty good. Definitely more quiet on that side. Right next to the bird conservatory.

The motel was mediocre.We were on the dingey older side of the motel so $240 was a gouge for sure. Where check in is, is the side of the motel you want.

The room had a balcony and water view. The rooms had a fridge to bring your own food. Coffee and tea and a maker was included in the room. The first room we got put in the toilet didn't work and they switched us to another room right away. The staff was very friendly.

The second room seemed like it wasn't cleaned properly, as there was stuff still on the floor( don't think the carpet was vacuumed, everything else in the room was good) The kids pool didn't have any water in it.

Location was great. Parking was great. River side view was spectacular! Best bang for your buck. Staff was really responsive.
