The pool is outstanding. The beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, there's a restaurant attached and several very near by. Easy access to the highway and a very reasonable drive to downtown Ottawa. Possibility to park your car right outside your room, for free (though we didn't take advantage of this due to deep snow that would stop us walking from our patio to the car).

The room could use some updating and more thorough maintenance. The heating unit blew cold air over the room for a few seconds at a time even when the system was turned off. If we had the unit on, the blowing air was a more reasonable temperature. The parking lot was not plowed well at all despite heavy overnight snow, and the steps didn't look salted enough.

Room was big and clean, location was great. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was great at the high fives restaurant attached to the hotel.

Reseverd the room for my girlfriends birthday a couple days later paid for the up grade, which i thought was a soaker tub and fireplace. Turns out i only upgraded the fire place which didn't work.

Clean, free parking, good location

Neighbors were very loud at night and early morning standing outside our room and talking loud. No one in the management team stopped them.

Git there to find out fireplace didn't worknto have maintenance spend hour to fix it. Phones to front desk didn't get through the whole stay. They even said they call to test the phones and never did. Part of the carpet was ripped up leaving the carpet nails exposed by the hot tub. Found out afterwards that they had bed bugs as well and didn't want to do anything about it.

the rooms are dated. the price was high.

Noise in the halls in the middle of the night sounded like they were right in our room.

Very comfortable bed and nice, clean bathroom, good climate control with opening windows.

The lighting could be much improved. Far too dim, especially with the dark decor.

Friendly staff

This hotel might have bedbugs. I complained about a horrible bunch of bites on my leg the morning of my stay. The front lady was supposed to check out the room and get back to me. She never did! So, I don't know if there was an infestation in the room or not.
