it was very clean with fresh breakfast available in the morning & a well stocked kitchenette for other hours. VERY comfortable & spacious room. Helpful, friendly and meticulous host.

Located near the Cathedral, Balmoral House afforded a central location & gorgeous views; but like all of St John’s be ready to walk a couple steep hills to get to bustling Duckworth or Water Streets. Well worth it!

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Good and plentiful continental breakfasts (due to COVID restrictions) Sharee was a great hostess who made me soft-boiled eggs each morning. Location was great, just minutes by car or on foot from Water Street with great selection of restaurants and Gastropubs

The room was clean and bright and the view breathtaking from our room and the bed so comfortable. It was quiet and had everything we needed. The perfect location to walk into town for restaurants. Great breakfasts and the attention to detail was wonderful.

There was nothing we didn't like.

It was beautiful and spotless. Everything was ready for us and the care taken in keeping it true to the period architecture was well done without being cluttered. The location was great for visiting St John’s downtown and the art museum The Rooms.

We liked the whole experience.

We loved the house. It is beautiful, impeccable in every aspect and you can see clearly that everything is carefully thought of. Breakfast was delicious! Great location too, really close to Water Street, but not on it.
