Cost of hotel room was high, and ponds need more aeration (3x more than current) to address odors, possible dredging. Nice job fishing out the small alligator. While some of the breakfast buffet needed to be cooked additionally or kept warm (for example meat: bacon and sausage was cold and the sausage links undercooked). My wife pointed out that the oatmeal, grits, and eggs were hot, so not everything. There is the option of the hot omelet.

“Terrace room” was a room with the parking lot as a view instead of how it was advertised with lush gardens, pool or lagoon view. We also were given a room with a huge hole in the ceiling. We requested a new room, but had to pay $40 more per night.

It was a great location and perfect beach access! I loved the new remodeled rooms and how spacious the room was! A plus is that there’s a lot of counter space in the restroom which is always hard to find at hotels. Parking and internet access is free too. The house maids were top notch and always made sure the room Was clean and tidy.

The pool was great, especially with young kids and the beach access was phenomenal. The grounds were very nice, with fun activities available, and the restaurant was quite good. The property was in a picturesque development and very short drive to much of the action.

As others had stated, the WiFi was terrible. It would disconnect every few minutes during use, requiring manual reconnection. We asked for linens for the pull-out couch for my young daughter. They had not come after several hours so we asked the front desk again. When we arrived back from our activity the linens were dumped on the hallway carpet outside of the door to the room. Not put on the bed that was out and waiting to be made and not even cleanly placed inside the room. Dropped in a rather messy display outside of the room. The wife and I could only laugh at such a site. Then she went to tell the front desk of their blunder. To their credit they then sent someone back up to the room to make the pullout couch If you charge a considerable fee for bike rentals, don’t also charge for helmets. It’s poor form.

They charge you a resort fee and you still need to pay for beach umbrella and chairs rental. The food and drinks were average, some really good and some not.

Sound transfer is bad, could hear people using the bathroom and every other small sound. Also didn’t receive any info about wifi, room service, etc. a booklet or QR code would have been helpful and I would have spent more on services. Also, wish there were some activities. Seems like those mainly happen during the summer but every one here is vacationing so activities like movie, happy hour, etc. would have been nice.

The location and the grounds are beautiful. The beach is also very convenient and clean.

The hot water was unavailable our first night and then again 2 days later due to a boiler malfunction. The resort did credit us one day for the inconvenience

Liked the pool and outside area, beach access

We asked for balcony but was not told it would overlook a roof. Liked the shuttle service but front lobby staff neglected to mention we should tell them we wanted to use shuttle. I asked several times about the shuttle regarding times and locations but they never said we should let them know we wanted to use it.

I did not like the fact that they allowed big dogs like golden retrievers to be in the resort. I understand small dogs, but these were not small dogs was told that guess can have pets but only small dogs in the area of the lobby and their room not at the pool or restaurants, but the dogs were by the pool

I liked the location of the resort, and some of the amenities.

The staff could have been more accommodating to us. Some people were treated better than us, and I believe that had to do what we looked like. We were not treated the same as others. The food was very bland, and did not taste good, for the most part. I would just expect a lot more for the type of resort and money spent on this stay.

Speed trap as you drive into the hotel. Charged crazy resort fee and then cancelled activities die to weddings. This could have been handled much better

The resort was beautiful and peaceful. There was quite a bit of activity for wedding season, however, we felt very comfortable and didn't feel over populated. The staff at the pool and restaurant were incredibly friendly and attentive. I loved that dogs were allowed, however, the place did not smell of pets. The pool was clean and Jason our waiter was wonderful!! He served up the best drinks all day. We enjoyed that we were able to rent bikes and beach chairs/umbrella right at the resort. So convenient! Honestly, every staff member from front desk to bike rental, pool and restaurant were incredibly friendly and attentive. Housekeeping staff also did an excellent job every day keeping our room neat and clean. Thank you, we had such a wonderful experience and will definitely return.

The only thing I can think of that was negative, was the hot tub pump was so loud, it was hard to talk. But if that is the worse thing, I'll take it.

The resort is directly on the beach and beach chairs and umbrella's were provided by the resort and beach services. The beach was clean and nice. They also had lifeguard services. The pool area was very nice and inviting. They had an outdoor bar and food service menu. The bar staff was attentive to the guest. The room was clean and quite for the most part. We were next to rooms that were still being remodeled and that was noisy during the day. I thought the resort should have provided a bit of a discount for this inconvenience. The plus was that the resort staff was excellent.

Great Beach Access

The sofa bed was a bit "springy" and uncomfortable.

The hotel is newly renovated and is pleasant and location is great with the beach close by. Restaurant was surprisingly with a good menu for breakfast and diner. We had delicious food at diner and we ate there three times! The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, specially from the menu was also very tasty. We also loved the pool , the commodities there and the beach: Just wonderful, one can walk for miles on the beautiful strand.

In general the staff was very friendly and professional. Then there are the exceptions that sabotage the good work that other staff do so well. They are rude, not motivated and for them it is most laborious to give service to a customer. Also the little work they do, they do it badly. While writing this review, I realize that their behavior is so bad that you have to really motivate yourself not to neglect the good performance of others. A pity !
