Location is amazing here and the rooms are nice.

Cleanliness could be better, only one bathroom to share with 8 women can get difficult. They don't change the codes often, lack of security therefore.

I'm so glad I didn’t care that much about the previous reviews. This hostel is in an AMAZING location, just one block from the beach in a super safe area, even late at night, and there's an ABC store on the corner. The reception staff is awesome! I met 4 of them and they were all super friendly. The rooms are great, with private bathrooms, fridges, lockers, air conditioning and fans. Plus, there's an internal balcony where you can hang your washed clothes. Overall, I 100% recommend this place and will definitely stay here on my next trip to Oahu.

I didn’t mind, but just so you know, I think it has 4 floors and you can only access the rooms by stairs. So keep that in mind when packing!

The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The sheets felt clean. That there was a fridge in the room. The wristbands made easy access to the property.

Close to the beach, affordable, clean rooms, nice back patio area with tables and seating, an ABC Store is conveniently right there on the corner

The building is a bit run down (but maybe that's just Honolulu.) There were homeless people sitting out front across the street all day, it seemed to be where that little group hangs out (but, again, maybe that's just Honolulu these days.) The rooms were clean, but the decks and surrounding street areas were dirty.

The location is unbeatable! The price is reasonable! The staff are so friendly! Bed was comfortable!

Everything was good until they squeezed a man into our “female dorm” on my last night at there. I mean the man was easygoing and maybe the other roommate had agreed with his stay( while I was not in the room?), but it’s definitely not proper to do so. Except this, my first three nights were wonderful, all the roommates were respectful and well behaved.

It’s close to the Waikiki beach and airport

I had to go up 3 levels stairs with 2 luggage which were quite heavy. The pillow and bed weren’t comfortable at all. There’s no AC in the room and all the noise from the street comes into the room which makes hard to sleep properly.

Their patio area is very nice. Plenty of places to sit and there is also a shaded area to sit away from the sun.

No lockers to store baggage and valuables.

I loved everything about this hostel. The people at the reception were very friendly and helpful. I met beautiful people, thanks to the whatsapp group the hostel has created. The location is amazing 👏

Easy Location

The entire staff from reception to house cleaning etc was very courteous and nice and helpful and polite.

The pictures on the website don't match the rooms and whatnot. I was sent an email to be able to get in as I was checking in late and it said to follow the directions on the picture or whatnot and that never came through so I didn't know how to get into the facility. When I called the receptionist was very courteous though and came down and opened the door for me.

The staff was very helpful and it's in a prime time location for Honolulu, you can sneeze and be right in the middle of Waikiki, shops, the beach and etc. The location alone gives this place a huge boost. The staff was available and helpful with any questions I needed. The guests were all kind, friendly, and respectful. The bathroom was pretty messy, if your a neat freak even a little bit then a hotel might be a better option. Also if shared space is new for you then this could ruffle your feathers as well. There's a cool whatapp chat group for people on the property to connect which was cool The front desk people were all very kind and courteous and I had no issues with them.

The beda squeak alot! Even the slightest movement has the beds making noise. Also most of the rooms have big lights there's no desk lamps or small lamps if you want light you have to turn on the main light and flood the whole room for everyone. The app while fairly convenient can be bothersome if you forget your phone or need to leave it on the charger. If you are someone who is going to be gone a lot and hanging out on the beach this is a great place. You can't check in early but you can keep your stuff in storage before checking and after checking out to make flights and etc a little more manageable which was great. An early check in option would be cool. If looks and presentation are important to you then I'd definitely get a higher end place but you will definitely pay the price. This place is a great value for what it is. Just understand this is mainly a place to sleep and maybe catch up on emails, not a sweet hangout pad.

The staff and the people were friendly, and welcoming. its a nice experience worth for the money. I see that the rules in the house is well adhered to. i will return to stay at wikiki beach side hostel

the bed was small, but ok for a hostel size. it will be nice if there is a paid service like mini mart.
