The location is great but the hotel has taken a major downturn in quality and cleanliness.

Overpriced motel 6 type room, had to pay resort fees for a motel 6. Floor were peeling up in room not at all as advertised.

We love the balcony view! The staffs was amazing. The location was close to the things we wanted to do. Overall you get what you pay for.

The bathroom had some issues, the toliet was very slow at flushing and it didnt have enough pressure to flush. It would occasionally leave some "floaters". We found a few roaches on the bathroom sink and in the cabnits. (Gross but not a big deal). The doors has a gap in the bottom which you can hear everything that happens in the hallway.

It was dirty from driving up you could see all the bird poop on the balconies. Everything was ran down and you could see and smell how musty and dirty it is. There was also roach in the room

The cabana and restaurant that is attached to hotel is separate from Hotel. The dock hasn’t been fixed. When you first walk in it looks nice but the rooms are horrid. There was a roach in the room. Didn’t see any after that but when there is 1 there is many. The bathrooms are awful. Tubs outdated and looks dirty. The rooms are outdated and dirty looking. Beds are comfortable. The patio locks looked like some tried to break in and no screens to keep the bugs out and fresh air in. The front door looked like it’s been kicked in. Over priced, dusty and broken items in the room. Phones do not work. Daughter stayed in another room and said the same thing. Horrible rooms. Hallways stink and looks old and filthy.

I stayed here for the location as well as having great experiences at the restaurant and events.

My room was disgusting, the mirror was broken and rusty, the walls had boogers and other smudges of unknown things. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and both the bath tub and sink did not drain properly so I was standing in my own puddles of dirt and germs. The nightstand and bed frames had smudges of unknown things and the patio door had to be open with force and was loud.

Really enjoyed the stay. The staff was excellent cleanliness of the hotel. I really love the view of my room will come back again.

That I only stay one day next time I will stay at least two nights to get the whole effect of the property

The Beach view.

No microwave, the floors were horrible, the elevator situation was horrible, and one shift ( I won't snitch 😂 ) was very slow, and didn't have water out for the next day!

The Godfrey is a cashless facility. That was the only issue I had with the stay.

The front desk served ice cold water bottles and fresh lemon with lemons to drink.. Plentiful....

The view for fireworks was nice, rooms were clean, staff was friendly and courteous.

Water pressure for shower was very low. We were there over the 4th of July and it was very loud, also the grill is 21 to enter so not good for families. We had a junior suite with the same a/c for a normal sized room that could not keep up with the florida heat.

I did not eat the breakfast. The location was perfect. The waterfront view was amazing.

There was a roach in my room at night near the refrigerator. I killed it but I couldn't sleep for the rest of the night. I also had to throw my leftover food away because I didn't know if he had crawled on the table or not. You should put the mini fridge on the table and not on the floor. I shouldn't be given some $$$ off my bill but nothing was done in my favor. The bathroom floor hadn't been mopped in a while.

We upgraded to a sea view room which was great. The view was very peaceful from the balcony.

The tub in the bathroom had been painted and was extremely slippery -- no grab bars.

The hotel needed to be remodeled a lot it was not worth $700 the room was not that clean, the tub in the toilet head spots in it. The sheets were not clean you have to request housekeeping, they oversold the hotel online definitely to say this is my first time going and when you call the front desk from the hotel phone they do not answer the phone at all I had to call for my personal phone just to get an answer. My window will not close at all you have to twist the door knob from the inside just to close it.

The room was not clean and the bath tub was filthy and didn’t drain properly. The walls are thin and you can hear everything including your neighbors domestics.
