The general manager tried to make up for the fact that my reservation was cancelled/lost/not found, or whatever by giving us a night's stay free.
After traveling 800+ miles with two hungry kids we landed at 10:30pm on Saturday, 6/15. Nobody was at the front desk so I called the after hours check in number. Once an employee arrived, he told me my reservation I made on 6/2 had been canceled due to an inactive credit card; the same card I used to reserve room in two other cities and the rental car. I was told I needed to contact Booking.com, and email was sent to me that day while we were on the road. The email actually arrived 20 minutes AFTER we left to go to Embassy Suites for the night. Not sure if it was Booking.com or Sonesta Simply Suites' fault (both blamed one another). The next day the general manager agreed give us the next night free - a nice gesture. When we left we forgot my daughter's dresses in a garment bag in the closet. We didn't realize until we were in San Antonio, Texas for her fiancée's graduation from USAF BMT at Lacklland Air Force Base. While it was too late to retrieve her dresses for any of our events we tried to reach Sonesta to arrange a Fedex, or some way to get them home. I was regularly told to call back the next day because whomever answered could not understand English. When I finally got somebody who did, she said anything that is not an electronic device is thrown in the garbage. How very considerate! As a 30 year veteran of the hospitality industry I always said if somebody likes our service they might tell 2 or 3 people.....if they are unhappy with our service they will probably tell 10-20. In my case, I will share this with any and all people I know who travel

Nice size room, full kitchen, friendly staff
Fruit flies everywhere in the room, stained carpet, sheet could of been softer. But the nats are definitely a problem

Massive stains in the carpet, no breakfast or swimming pool as advertised on the website, and the customer service from a lady I had to deal with was all horrible.

It was a nice building
There was no one at the hotel when we arrived from out of town. We had to wait for hours to get checked In.Tgere were nets in both of my rooms and we was there for a whole week. We never had keys for the rooms so we had to go to the office and wait for someone to let us in our rooms.

The room was big and clean.
They advertise a nice outdoor pool that's been closed and no water in for last year the staff said. It's 88 in memphis we wanted to refresh and relax by the pool during our 2 day stay. We checked out when we arrived.but we did look at the room

gnats, gnats, gnats. they were everywhere. i was on the 4th floor.. they mustnhave some thpe of moisture problem within the hotel. room was old, shower handle didn’t work right; the door lock kept coming open when we opened the door.. just several little things like this.

I did not like anything but the size of the room
The room was filled with nats. They flew around the entire time and the property did nothing about it. I reached out to Priceline to get help and they basically told me they could t do anything it was all up to the property. I was miserable and avoided coming to my room the entire trip.

Location was good
Room wasn't clean and had knats very bad. Went to the front desk and told the gentleman and the lady that was working during my check in and they never showed any concern. Also adding that I had a kitchenette with unclean dishes and no way to clean the dishes. Not satisfied with the cleanliness, the smell throughout the hotel was horrible, very noisy all night. This property needs a lot of training.

No breakfast even though it was on booking pace including breakfast. We booked for 3 people and our son was supposed to sleep on a sofa. He did not have any pillow to sleep on and instead of a blanket, they gave him just two sheets. Stuff was not very cooperative. I would not recommend it to anyone. Not worth the money.

Clean quiet and VERY convenient to my doctor visits!
Not very secure parking! Power went out but I know that was not their fault! DM voluntarily offered me a 1 night refund but never followed through! I sleep with cpap and tried sleeping in my car but had a couple of thugs that kept pecking on windows trying to get me to open windows! Finally went back inside and didn’t sleep any!

I enjoy the comfort of the bed and full kitchen, which was a plus. Entering the room, it was clean and had no odor. I was content with appearance
The smoke detector was hanging from the wall, no extra blankets in the room, the shower was spewing water onto the floor while showering unbeknownst to me, it started seeping to the carpeted area and I had used our towels to clean the mess.
The grounds were full of trash, and dumpters were overflowing. It was such an eye sore.

I could not contact the property for 3 weeks of trying.
Via email through the app twice and phone calls directly to the hotel multiple times.
I eventually tried the corporate main number twice and the Booking.com number twice.
My daughter eventually was able to contact the corporate office while I was on the road. She did a 3-way call so I could get my concerns taken care of.
The room was not clean, the walls were visibly dirty around the doors etc, and around the toilet was not clean. Around the floors in the kitchen.
There were no towels for the kitchen. I used a bath towel. No dish detergent for hand washing the dishes or the counters.
Floor boards and the shower and sink in the bathroom were dirty upstairs.
The rooms need to be updated and painted, stained carpets throughout.

smell outside the room was terrible, stoves not clean which cause smoke in room, room had no smoke detector and sercurity of the hotel was non existent. back door lock was broke so anyone could get into hotel key or no key, the gate did not close at night to parking lot so no key needed there either

The room was decent. The bed was comfortable.
I had an issue with billing. I called and was refunded some of the money back. I asked why was the booking price not honored and I can not get a response. The property itself, was ok. if you have any issues, know they won’t respond.

I loved Michael when I checked in my first night. His attitude was above and beyond.
When we arrived in our room there was water all over the floor and bathtub from the cleaning staff cleaning the tub. There was no toilet paper and the toilet paper holder was off the wall.
