Location was good. Easy access to downtown Charleston. Tourist information centre a few blocks away at the Fire Museum was excellent! You can book most of your tours from that location. Buffet breakfast was very good, and the staff were pleasant and attentive. Plenty of "free" parking.

Coffee maker in the room was located on a stand that made it difficult to add the water without pulling the tray partially off the shelf.

I liked the convenience of the property to the coliseum and outlet stores.

We had a couple of things happen, which didn’t affect us too much, it was just really confusing to us. we received a call from the property while on a tour in Charleston on Saturday. When I returned the call, no one knew why I was called and said there wasn’t an issue. When we got to our room that evening, our card key didn’t work and we had to get another card. Later that evening I went to the car and forgot the room key. I requested another key and was told I was not in room 533 anymore, that I had been transferred to room 424. I told them we had never been moved and I had just left the room, and my husband was asleep and not answering the door or phone. They then gave me another key to our room. Whenever we checked out on Sunday, they asked if there was a reason we were checking out a day early. I advised we only booked 2 nights, and they said it’s ok I would only be charged for the time stayed. When I returned to my car, I re checked the reservation and it did say Jan 27 to Jan 29, and that is what the lady had advised at check in. Just a lot of confusion. we did enjoy our stay and complimentary breakfast.

the location to the airport and room was clean

very strong chemical smell in the room. And check in staff is not very friendly they seem irritated. Kids were running up and down our hall in slamming the doors until quite late.
