It is significantly more run down than the photos show. We ended up not staying here at all. When we first arrived we noticed it was dingy and the area was sketchy. We figured we would see how the room was. We booked a suite but received a regular room. The room reeked of marijuana, paint was chipping in large chunks from the ceiling, and the whole appearance was not inviting. Flimsy metal beds and only made up with a thin blanket even though it’s fall. We decided to not stay here. I am working with Booking for a refund or credit for not staying here. The hotel did refund my pet fee but charged me $50 for something that they didn’t mention up check in that has not been refunded yet.

i like that it's walking distance to everything.

i didn't like climbing 3 flights of stairs. i do like the looks of the stairs.

Management was horrible. Couldn't get towels nor wash cloths for the extra child that stayed w me. Plus, because extra child was not included in online reservation, manager was on me all the time about charging me extra. Lamp shade was completely molded.

The location room size and outside appearance. The parking was convenient.

My 1st nite I wanted to check out and get my money back. The guy kept saying I couldn't get a refund. When we arrive around 7pm we Got checked in. Grabbed our swim stuff and went to spend some time at the beach. Looked in the room, the room looked ok. It was straightened up. When we came back I noticed Dirty linen dirty towels hair on the shower walls & shower curtain. I asked to be moved which they did that next day.They still had to come in the room at around 9:30 to completely clean it. Mad I Didn't notice until we came in after hanging out at the beach and we went to take a shower. Then I fully went through the room checking everything. Which was just nasty. The second room was better. The next morning I opened my eyes and saw a bug crawling past my face so I got up immediately got my kids up and we left at 6:30/7am Saturday morning. Didn't plan to check out until almost check out time 11am. It's one of the worst experiences in any hotel my family has stayed in, in Va beach. We come here about 3 times a yr..

The price was decent for how close to the beach it was. The remodel of the room was nice.

I didn't like that the office manager went room to room to tell everyone that check out was at 11, 15 minutes before check out.

Nothing at all. Location not bad but wasn't worth racing about.

Bathroom floor had not been cleaned at all. Bed sheets either had taken a greyish tint from poor washing or had not been washed. Coffee maker but no cups of any kind to put coffee in. Wall Mirror was leaning against wall instead of hung on wall. Parking was very bad. Hot and cold water were reversed. Overall condition of entire property was poor.

Nothing this place is a train wreck

Horrible staff, rude, hostile, aggressive. Wouldn't trust this location with my belongings, or pets for even one night. Did not ebd up staying in the room here, worst experience just trying to check in for less than 12 hrs. Cops were called by me after being threatened by person at the desk. All because they believed we had over the price he charged weight for dogs after telling him an estimated weight. But refused to actually weigh the dogs, then showing me 3 different policies. Which all conderdicted each other. Each booking site had a certain policy for the weight dogs can be for each price. The hotel should set the policy. Which we saw Clear signage posted but then staff refused to follow the policy. Wanted to charge me double after I told them the weight of the dogs. So I said give me my money back I'll go elsewhere. Refused until the cops asked and got me my refund. They are out to take your money and treat you like garbage. Worst experience ever.

Size of the room, proximity to the beach, warm water, decent bathroom

All of the upholstered furniture was stained n smelled bad, the deadbolt lock didn't work, the main door was missing a chunk at the bottom of it and there was a gaping hole in the door, the walls had peeling paint, the blind in the bedroom was broken, and the towels were stained
